“I went to the Elk Grove location which is Hot Bunz 2. First thing I noticed was the blaring music which they did have good songs playing but way too loud to even have a conversation. The graffiti art work on the walls inside the restaurant are a decent touch to the place. The menu is super small and not overwhelming at all which is a good thing. The customer service is good and the staff was friendly and even gave recommendations for first timers. Although the food took quite a while to receive. They call the burgers "sliders" and they are far from being sliders. I ordered a meal that came with 2 sliders and each had double smashed patties. The sliders came with fresh grilled jalapenos and grilled onions with gooey cheese. Kinda similar to Animal Style burgers from In N Out. The fries are slightly battered, well seasoned and crispy and were good. You can add lettuce and tomatoes no extra charge which I'm doing next time. Oh, and the smashed patties had crispy edges which is ideal for this type of burger style. The bunz were nice and soft and I think they might be brioche buns. They have their own Special Sauce that reminds me of a Big Mac sauce but with no dice pickles, a lot thinner and more runny with a touch of sweetness. The meal I ordered will serve 2 sober customers or one hungry customer with the munchies . Drinks are sold separately. Now you can't compare this to In N Out because they are two different types of burgers. Is it good? Yes! Will I go back? Yes! Is it better than InNOut? I'll still eat at InNOut as well. You have to be the judge and go give it a try for yourself. The meal I ordered with taxes came to about $20. And I also took mine to go and left the lid open so the food didn't get soggy. I recommend eating it there for a better experience. Next time I'll order the 4x4 and a double on the side with their Frisky fries (Animal Style fries). “I wish I would have taken pictures of my food but I doubt they would have done this review any justice. I ordered the chicken gyro, chicken Philly and a lamb/steak Philly via phone call and the person (male) taking the order was pleasant and articulate enough to understand him. He repeated the order back to me twice and asked if I wanted to make my food spicy and then made sure he had it down right and gave me an estimated wait time of 15. I got there 20 minutes later and my food was ready and I was immediately welcomed with a smile and a courteous “hi, are you here for pickup? “. I’m so surprised the place was empty and I was a bit scared that maybe it wasn’t a good sign but when I went in the car and opened my food I was pleased at how big my portions were meaning there was plenty of meat and chicken on my gyro so I know I wasn’t being ripped off like in other places where they give you 5 pieces of lamb or steak for the amount you pay . The food is extremely affordable compared to other afghan/ gyro places and the meat given is soooo much more compared to others too. My husband and I took a big bite and we couldn’t stop eating even after being full. The food was so good; the chicken was so juicy and full of flavor and it tasted fresh. I also need to clarify that the “juicy” part of the meals had nothing to do with grease or too much left over oil this place really knows how to make their food so delicious without feeling like you bit into straight up oil. I did not have any stomach issues after eating and it definitely wasn’t salty so I’d recommend this place to people with sodium restrictions. The two gentlemen went above and beyond from the first call all the way til my food was given to me with a smile. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving a “middle eastern” food item and for welcoming service. I do have ONE complaint and that is their parking availability, the entrance is tight and there is limited parking so I can see how this would be difficult to visit during rush hour times. “We had a very good experience at our first time here. We ate inside. There were a few tables occupied, but plenty available. Looks like they do quite a drive-thru and take out business. There's a couple of TV's inside. One one soccer and one on news. The sound on both were low as they play Mexican music on the speakers, which I preferred over the sound from either TV. We ordered the Mexi-bowl, which is essentially a burrito bowl. One was with chile verde and the other with al pastor. The salsa bar was clean and tidy. We tried the two red and orangey colored salsas and both had heat! The orangey one seemed hotter. We usually like a bit of heat, so they were both good. The chips were okay. Our 'bowls' came on plates. It was nice that they brought our food to our table. Not sure if it's typical, but nice. Their chile verde is really good!! This was no watery sorta green pork stew. It had body and flavorful pork. We could taste the tomatillos and the Mexican oregano! We were impressed. The al pastor is also flavorful and both bowls had plenty of meat. The rice and beans were good. The lettuce lightens the bowl up, which is a nice option. We are pleased with the food and will be back for more.“

They have plenty of curbside pick up spots so that's nice, but a bigger parking lot or more spaces would be helpful but not the end of the world. Looking forward to coming back to this location.
