Cookies! I love me some cookies! I tried to get some here earlier in the month but turns out that the shop was closed for the holidays. No problemo as I was able to swing by recently when it was open. If you're a big fan of oatmeal cookies (like I am) you're going to love this place. This shop holds its name as the oatmeal cookies that I had here (one oatmeal raisin and one oatmeal chocolate chip) were delectably chewy. So so good! I have been purchasing great cookies from Goodie Tuchews, for years and the owner is the only employee for her business. I know she is a family person, works hard and makes great cookies. I also know that the Homeless Vagrants that hang out/have tents on/adjacent to her L. street location, are killing businesses, downtown, Sucramento.
