“Great ice cream! It's creamy and wonderful-depending on which flavor you get. They have about 50 different flavors of ice cream to choose from. This keeps you coming back to try more. The service is quick. They are pricey here. Their taro ice cream is really sweet. The green tea ice cream is alright, tasting similar to the Hagen daas green tea ice cream. The toasted almond ice cream is sweet with sliced almonds in it. Their strawberry ice cream might be my favorite. I'm usually not a huge fan of strawberry ice cream either. Their strawberry ice cream doesn't have huge chunks of strawberries but small strawberry bits on it. It's a small shop but there is seating outside. Parking is street parking-parallel parking.“

But for matcha lovers, you'll probably appreciate the evident matcha flavor. -Milk Tea: not the strongest milk tea flavor I've had, but I actually really enjoyed it that way. Really smooth texture & perfect amount of sweetness for me. -Brown sugar: a little grainy, but if you don't mind that, the flavor is nice. So we searched online for nearby ice cream and found one shop closed then THANKFULLY we came upon Leatherbys. They were open late, CLEAN and friendly, and the environment is fun. We ordered 2 sundaes and enjoyed them both. The next night...yes, we went back... we decided to enjoy dinner. We had burgers, DELICIOUS fries, and more ice cream.We laughed, talked, and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Leatherbys made it so easy to do all of these things. “It was 102 degrees outside, so it made sense to get ice cream! I'm no ice cream aficionado, but I'm an adventurous eater, so DMC was the perfect spot! They have daily rotating flavors, so every visit will be different. You can check out their instagram to find out what they're currently serving. I tasted the more "unique" flavors, like cornbread and salted egg yolk potato chip. They tasted fine, but the flavor profiles didn't stand out too much for me. Meanwhile, the more "basic" flavors like sea salt and ube were strong. As in not subtle at all. It was amazing! I opted to do a half and half single scoop of both flavors, which was pretty generous in serving. The only downside was that it was so hot outside that my ice cream immediately started melting. I ordered the orange Popsicle, when I asked how to pronounce it he just translated what it was. I'm assuming one isn't supposed to chew the Popsicle because there were hard seeds in it that could have broke me teeth. If you know what you want and don't need help this is the place for you but don't expect help if it's your first time. At the end one person said " welcome in " the other four did not.“

I'm sure you'll figure out how Menchie's will work (as far as getting your yogurt and toppings, and paying), so let's talk about the 'other' stuff happening. The customer service was great....We had a good experience and met very happy employees working there that day. The place IS VERY small. Like one or two tables small with a few tables outside. You might have to grab your cup and have a little walk around the strip mall while you eat. But if you do have a chance to grab a seat inside or out, it appeared the people working there tried their best to be attentive in keeping the area clean. It seems like they rotate their products often enough where you'll have plenty of choices in yogurt and toppings.“

“Want to be transported back in time? You absolutely need to stop at Vic's ice cream shop in East Sacramento. There is a small adjacent parking lot and plenty of street parking around. Expect somewhat long lines on warm weekends. You can also grab a seat at the counter or a booth. There is limited seating. They have a small menu of hot food items, but what they're known for are their desserts and ice cream! I got a small sunday of strawberry cheesecake ice cream with hot caramel and fresh pineapple with a cherry and whipped cream. Delicious! Their top Seller is the chocolate mint ice cream which smells heavenly of mint. All their ice cream is made fresh in house. They also have a secret menu. Ask for the suicide drink next time. This is a great nostalgic local shop that's been around since 1947.“

The guys put on a show tossing their scrapers and chatting with my kiddos. They also have claw machines that take seemingly free tokens that the guys give out repeatedly. “I just recently visited Del Valle Antojitos y Neveria (located on the side of Del Valle Supermarket), and ordered a custom banana split. I can't believe this place only has one Yelp review so far! Their concha ice cream sandwiches are all over Instagram. I was going to order a concha ice cream sandwich, but they had already sold out of their conchas (which they bake fresh in store each morning) for the day. The shop was so cute, and highly Instagrammable. The walls are painted pink, and decorated with die-cut wooden posters of Mexican sweets. The staff was super patient, friendly, and helpful. I asked if I could change out the flavors and toppings in the banana split, and they said 'Of course!' For my ice cream flavors, I asked for Pistachio, Ferrero, and Strawberries with queso. For toppings, I asked for Fruity Pebbles and Sour Gummy Worms, but she also added the standard coconut and granola, which came out delicious. There was also whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cherries, sprinkles, and of course, the banana. (I also saw a Gansito split option on Instagram.) Their ice cream is made in house, and it shows in the flavor. My favorite ice cream was the Strawberries with queso, and then the Nutella. Although I liked the Pistachio flavor, I thought that it was way too heavy on the Pistachio extract. I was thinking that it probably needs an alcohol content warning (as the extract contains about 35% alcohol). Overall, this was probably the best banana split I've ever had in my life. This shop is so cute, and they offer all kinds of Mexican snacks and desserts, like mangonadas, fresas con crema, elote, Doritos locos, etc. All of their goodies are made "extra," as in lovingly, over the top, and cute enough to show off on Instagram. In addition to the regular concha ice cream sandwiches, which come with two scoops of ice cream, they also have a mega concha, which comes with five scoops, and is meant to serve at least two people. In addition to the regular mangonada, they also offer a 'Del Valle' version with house made chamoy, chamoygetti, a tamarind cuchara and straw, and other Mexican candies (this is what I want to try next). This shop reminds me of the shops I go to when I visit my family in Southern California. This is the first time I've found anything as good in NorCal! I'm so glad I found this place. I'll definitely be back!“

“I went here on a whim to buy donuts for the office. The line was three deep. They processed people fairly quickly. Two taking orders and one person ring up the order. To my surprise and delight they had boba tea which is my current craving. I order a boba tea and was good. The donuts were on par with other donut shops.
