JP Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem on Freeport Blvd in Sacramento. The food is delicious with an excellent service. The dining room is a little dated but comfortable. I have the Roasted Duck Curry and Spicy Fish (I want it mild). I also ordered brown rice for the curry. All the dishes are delicious. However, I hope the Roasted Duck Curry is a little more creamy. It is more like a curry soup; even the curry tastes very well.Parking: ADA parking availableKid-friendliness: The restaurant has many dishes the kids will likeWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly

The service was phenomenal! Food was brought out fast and hitting the spot. My wife and I have found our new favorite Thai restaurant close to home. 100% recommend!

It was my first time here. The steak that I ordered was very flavorful and the vegetables went very well with it. It was a light meal, exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to come back and try other menu items!

Today was my family’s first time visiting JP Thai Kitchen. I used the reviews to decide where we would stop, so I thought I should contribute after our meal.We were greeted by friendly staff members as we walked in, so great start. The tables and floors were all very clean. The meal was served family style. We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, chicken satay, cucumber salad, wonton soup, crab fried rice and chicken pad Thai. Everything was made to order, so they were able to leave egg out of the Pad Thai and the onions out of the crab fried rice when we requested. My daughters shared the sticky rice with mango but I was entirely too full for dessert. Everything we ate was EXCELLENT, though we all ended up having different favorites. I feel that the portion sizes were good, the quality was excellent, the prices very fair for what we got. As we left we were already talking about how much we look forward to going back again. I’d have trouble ordering something new because I liked what we had so much. You should definitely consider trying JP’s.Dietary restrictions: Because everything was made fresh, they can leave out many ingredients. I do not know if they have cross contamination protocols. We ordered without egg, but my daughter doesn’t have a true allergy, just a sensitivity that can cause eczema. Not a lot of dairy on the menu, so we didn’t have it as a concern.

What took me so long to find this?! Wow just super good food, fresh, well prepared. Had the fried tofu and the eggplant dinner and both dishes were on par or better than other popular Thai places. I'll be back soon!

I usually order their food to-go and love the convenience of calling ahead and grabbing it on my way home to my family - it's always piping hot and served with a smile. My friends and I have met for lunch here and it's very busy with lots of families and other groups at nearly every table. The booths are comfortable and I like watching the shows they have on the television while eating there, or just waiting for my food. It's a cute little spot.

We had lunch here yesterday and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. My wife had pad thai and I had drunken noodles. We both had Thai ice tea. Both our noodle dishes were excellent. When our food arrived I thanked our server in Thai. Her beautiful face broke out in an even bigger smile and we talked about Thailand. In some Thai restaurants the servers don't speak any Thai. The love for Thailand and its wonderful cuisine really shows here. Our server asked if we wanted spicy sauces and brought a container with 6 different chili sauces just like in many restaurants in Thailand. I would have included photos, but the food was too good. Thank you JP Thai Kitchen. We will see you soon.Don't speed by too fast along Freeport or you might miss this treasure. Watch for the small green sign.

I love Thai food. But for some reason, JP Thai Kitchen is always skipped when thinking about where to have lunch or dinner in the area. I think it may be because I am very familiar with the area. I just discovered I skipped an excellent Thai food in the neighborhood, which I think I know all about. Lol! JP Thai Kitchen is at a section of Freeport Blvd, a little off from all the businesses. I think this is one of the reasons I have overlooked them for a long time. But I finally found them. I have my dinner there. Oh! Wow! They're excellent! Both food and service. I ordered the Roast Duck Curry and a Brown Rice. The curry is perfect. All the ingredients and, of course, the duck are delicious. The brown rice is cooked perfectly too. Not too soft or too hard. I enjoyed the Roast Duck Curry. They didn't ask me for the spicy levels. But it is perfect for me. The dining room is big and classical-looking. It is comfortable and clean. The lady who served the dining room (I think she is the owner) goes above and beyond to ensure all her customers are taken good care of. I know they're there now! I like Thai food. They have good Thai food. I'll be there again.

Inside is clean. Service was great. The food wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I had ordered a thaiboat. The noodle appeared to be glass noodles unlike the traditional pho noodles. It was a weird texture in combo with the broth of boat noodles. I'd come back to try another food. I'm sure other food on the menu would not disappoint unlike the thaiboat noodle.
