Excellent service! We were a bit late for our reservation on Saturday 3/23 and had to be at a show, so I was concerned we wouldn't have enough time to be seated, eat, and pay. The whole crew from the hostess staff, the back of house chefs, and the waiter went out of their way to make our experience pleasant. They didn't know that the dinner and show were a gift for my 15 year old son's birthday, and that they had a part in setting the night on the right foot. The place just seemed to be run well. The food came out hot and we enjoyed each dish, the ambiance is really warm and inviting with cool art, and the prices are reasonable. We'll be back to try some Vegan dishes next time we're in downtown Sacramento!

First time visiting and I must say that establishment was really nice. I ordered stuffed chili Relleno with shrimp and crab, but I think they left out the crab. It was kind of disheartening to have your plate come out and it was cold like Luke warm so I was hesitant about sending it back even though the server was pretty nice I just don't want to think about the cook being offended and then mess the dish up (maybe I'm thinking too hard) One thing I did notice that was concerning is that restaurants are charging kitchen retention fees on top of gratuity fees I've never heard of Kenny retention fees, so that is concerning when it's just sprung on you when you get the bill I feel that people should be made aware of these additional fees before being obligated to pay. But they were understanding, and did remove the kitchen retention fee. I will visit again

Love this place. Great and authentic food. Service is so snappy considering dining room size, menu complexity, and the huge bar. We often come before shows or events downtown and they always accommodate any special requests or timing. The drinks are awesome, and I recommend taking a good look at whatever the featured special is there. My personal favorite dish is the pistachio molé but honestly you can't go wrong.
Walking in on a Tuesday night was fairly busy, so I would recommend a reservation. Especially for a larger party. When our food was brought to us I could easily see why there were so many people. The flavors were absolutely perfect, and they brought it out fairly quickly. Our server Alvaro was also very attentive and friendly, refilling drinks and checking in on us.

Tried this place for the first time. We were seated immediately. The decor and atmosphere and immersive. The menu is full of food that you don't see at your traditional Mexican restaurant. Excellent selections of tequeilla. Our food came out quick and was beautifully displayed and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place, we will be returning!

Some delicious fare overall there for dinner last night. In particular, the CARNE CON CHILE was terrific, the steak a little tough but overall the broth, beans, peppers and beef made for a perfect combination of flavor. I will have a hard time picking anything else when I return.. hopefully very soon.
