Sit inside don’t sit outside because they’re doing construction or it’s just hot. It doesn’t really have a view but the service and the food is excellent. The bathrooms needed some attention but overall it’s friendly there and the food was really good always good. We’ve gone there several times we’re locals.
I enjoy eating at Rio. It is in the heart of Old Sacramento which makes it a great restaurant to take family and friends from out of town. Parking on special weekends can be difficult but there is a lot near the restaurant that is convenient to walk to. The drinks are great and I personally love their cheese sourdough loaf! I would recommend it for brunch or a light lunch.

We came on a busy Saturday afternoon just after 1pm and was busy. We were greeted right away from the host and what seemed like a manager. He was very attentive and after we were given a 35 minute wait, they had us seated in 15 minutes. Natasha was our server and she was sweet and attentive. Gave good recommendations and service was amazing. The omelette was delicious and full of flavor. My mother and grandmother had the Monte Cristo and it was very delicious.
