“I love The Sandwich Spot so much! Best place for a sando. The Dutch crunch is perfect and fresh. This small location in an old midtown house turned store front that has hardwood flooring, plenty of inside seating and a restroom. I always add on the chocolate chip cookies and jalapeño potato chips which compliment every Sando in my opinion. The workers are fast and friendly. Ample street parking. Closes quite early so be sure to come before 3pm (LUNCH HOURS) Today I ordered 3 sandos. My mom and son both got the Kings Court with pepper jack on a French roll. I ordered the Sac Bee on Dutch crunch with pepper jack. Comes with marinated hot chicken, bacon, avocado, and choice of cheese. Be sure to add on all the fresh veggies for an elite sando experience. 10/10 highly recommend yum!“
“The place is great! No matter how busy they are, it is always a great experience due to the whole staff in and out of the kitchen! Everyone is so helpful and friendly! Especially Jose H. ! He has great customer service! He is always professional and kind! Overall he is fantastic! Cane is also amazing too! He is very warm and welcoming! I never regret going to Mendocino Farms! Whoever is in charge of the restaurant, should be very proud of this hard working staff. From a happy and full costumer!?“
“Best bánh mì in Sacramento. The bread is crunchy but soft enough that it doesn't cut your mouth/ is too hard. I love getting the small bánh mì because it's the perfect size and the fillings are perfect. The grilled pork banh mi is the best. Also get the pate so (meat filled pastry) if you never tried it. Something not on the menu is the croissants. They have almond and raisin both HUGE and delicious. Price is also really affordable and service is fast. I've seen people say workers are rude but.. this is a to-go place. As long as I get my food quick. It's all good. LOL. They're just trying to get through people quickly bc it gets packed so fast.“
“Portland/Las Vegas guy here... I've tried a lot of sandwich places, always hoping to find the best of the best, but I just haven't found THE PLACE until now! Dad's Sandwiches are remarkable. My husband and I stopped by on a roadtrip recently, and loved the place so much we decided to organize our schedule such we could stop on the way home as well. I ordered the Baja Bird (Twice) and loved every bite. The sandwich is flavorful and juicy, and packed with delicious avocado, chicken, bacon and fresh veggies. The bread is flakey on the outside, and buttery and delicate inside. There's generally a wait on the weekends, but I promise you... hold steady, because these sandwiches are worth the wait! My husband ordered the tri-tip sandwich the first time we visited, but they were unfortunately sold out of that specific sandwich. They offered to substitute the beef for turkey and added extra cheese free of charge. (I thought that was kind of them) The second time we visited he was able to order the tri-tip and said it was the best he's ever had. Now here's the sad part... these folks are in Sacramento and I only make it to town once or twice a year. That's just too long to wait until I can start working my way through the rest of their menu. If you're a local, RUN to Dad's and tell them Nico sent you. I see an amazing sandwich in your future!“
“Absolutely the best sandwich spot around. Awesome sandwiches, friendliest people, always take care of me. I always use the website to order, and then know exactly when it will be ready, which is great since my lunchtime is limited. Highest recommendation possible!“
“Decor: During my visit there was an art show in progress that added to the "cool" vibe this sandwich shop offers. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, but on a beautiful day you are just a stone throw away from the best parks Sacramento has to offer. Food: Bring your appetite (or a friend who likes to share) because these sandwiches are huge! Your choice of bread and plenty of sandwich options. Both hot and cold sandwiches are available. There are many flavors-something for everyone. Parking: Limited parking is available in this area, but it is walkable on a pleasant day. Uber is an option as are electric scooters, and other public transportation modes. The Sandwich Spot is very close to Sac City College so you get that youthful coolness vibe the area offers. Service: The staff is pleasant and enthusiastic to help you make a decision. Food is served up promptly. Tip generously.“
“Eat here!! The Hang Loose on a dutch roll is my all time favorite deli sandwich. The dutch roll is KEY I hope they never get rid of it. I get this sandwich every time, the dutch roll can sometimes be a bit hard when it's late in the day and not as fresh tho. Best sandwich out there, and I appreciate the complimentary cookie :)“
“Went to lunch today and ordered the Italiano. WOW! Full of flavor and the combo comes with a drink, chips, and a wedge of cake. The service was fast and friendly so everything was super fresh and hot. It's pretty small inside so expect to have a very short wait outside for a great sammy. I'm going back!“
“A gem on Folsom Blvd. The new owners have treated this institution with so much love it brings joy to my heart. Food is incredibly delicious, and the workers always wear a bright, friendly smile. It's an old style of diner, with cool posters and knickknacks but not too cluttered. Prices are very reasonable, and you will not walk away hungry or disappointed.“
“I come here frequently to pick up banh mi sandwiches. They have a variety of different sandwiches with chicken, pork, and beef. They're made fresh and are delicious. The prices are reasonable and not outrageous like other places. Huong Lan has the best sandwiches.“
“Wow!! Debbie, and Alondra were wonderful.I love coming in to see them smiling. So friendly and sincere every time I come in.And not once have I been disappointed by the food. Everything's always fresh and so good!!Definitely worth checking out. Thankyou for the great service!!“
“Average sourdough place!Inside is clean and mostly empty. Staff are ok friendly. Sandwich options are the same as every other Sourdough & Co franchise location. The sandwich quality is ok. Meat tasted reasonably fresh. Staff were helpful in answering questions. Food came out reasonably fast and bread was still warm.Price is kind of expensive. Almost $20 for a sandwich and soup. Feels like I am buying a sandwich at an amusement park. On the other hand I am quite cheap so maybe their price is worth it, given their undeniably good quality.Overall, an OK sourdough place!“
“First the smell attracted me in. Then I was greeted by the most professional and happy group of workers. I can't remember all they names cause I was in a rush but I wanna give a shout out and say thank you to that group of ladies. BTW they recommended the sub and it was on point???“
“Ordered a large box (four sandwiches and condiments) for a lunch event at the local high school. Staff was very helpful over the phone and had everything ready when I arrived. Everyone agreed the sandwiches were delicious, and I was very happy with the whole process.“
“First time ever going to Mendocino and won't be the last! The gentleman at the front was very welcoming and appreciated that all of the tables were cleaned up. The Avocado & Quinoa Salad was so fulfilling. I love a salad that has crunch, and this definitely had it! I like that they don't offer your standard fountain drinks, they have fresh made lemonades, ice tea, and green juice. All were tasty and refreshing. Will be craving this soon!“
“It is always a great place to eat with great sandwiches and daily soups. The employees are always very friendly and professional even if they are new and still learning.I guess my only con is that the prices seem to have gone up since I've started eating at this chain, but that is inflation.“
“Sandwich shop with fun names. Their bomb sauce really is the bomb.Zoobie Doobie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: reuben like sandwich with Pastrami instead of corned beef. The sandwich did end up a bit soggy from all the sauce, but all the flavors were really good.“
“Duc Huong had a line out the door and I needed a banh mi lol, so I googled searched for another joint that maybe people be sleeping on. This place is hidden for sure. Through a gated property, buildings look empty save for a boba place and a Vietnamese juice bar. Long sandwiches is tucked away around the corner where the fountain is through a covered patio. It was dead when I went in but didn't compromise the freshness of the bread or the ingredients. I got the bbq pork banh mi with everything on it. Was $6.95 and warm and fresh. It was delicious. Def will come back!“
“So I usually go to LaBou when at work but decided to stop here for lunch as people have been bragging about the cafe. I went inside the building and noted it's secure. Must show security your state badge for access and if not a state employee you can sign the visitor log. Walked into the cafe and was a bit lost lol. I looked at the menu to find something to eat. I learned the salads are in the refrigerator and are fresh. Cash registers are in the middle toward the exit area. Staff were friendly and guided me because I was confused lol. My salad was sooo affordable and way cheaper than LaBou. I went back to my building to eat but you can eat in the cafeteria. When I ate my salad, I was sooo impressed by the freshness of everything and was full. I'm definitely coming back when in the office and bringing my peers with me. Can't wait to come back.“
“My sandwich was ready in a jiffy. I ordered the Backstabber, on a french roll and added all the other extra veggies: mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños & avocado. Chicken was juicy and tender, the Caesar sauce kicked it off. Staff seemed to work well and efficiently with one another. Manager came to my table checking on us, asking how everything was. Great customer service. Ike’s definitely represents the LOVE they announce. Best sandwich I’ve had in quite sometime, ever since Schlotzsky’s went out of business in Sacramento!Vegetarian options: Tons of veggies to choose from as well as vegan fried chicken-and you can’t even tell the difference, it’s SCRUMPTIOUS!Dietary restrictions: Cater to whatever your food preferences are. Many, many selections from sandwiches, to sauces, to chips and/or create your own.“
“I never knew there was a sandwich spot in this plaza, this place is so hidden I thought my GPS was lying to me lol. But I got here right on time before their lunch rush. The cashier was so nice and helpful with my order. The sandwich is so bomb!!! I got the Florin Panther Sandwich and thought I got hooked up but the sandwich is just so big and has so much meat! That Dutch crunch bread is amazing tooo! Definitely coming back to try the other sandwiches!“
“We ordered the goi ngo sen (lotus root salad) party tray. Small is is $40, and large is $60. Easy to order by phone and the man i spoke to was extremely polite. Like dang I wanted to give him a hug. The party tray was a hit and I will definitely order other stuff from them in the future.“
“I've been wanting to try Firehouse Subs for quite a while but never got to it. I'm happy that I finally made it a point to try it.I ordered the Firehouse Hero with a soup combo. The soup was loaded potato soup. I ordered a small and was a bit worried that I should have ordered a medium due to the small size of the sandwich (4 inches). The meat was fresh and the sandwich was flavorful and just the right size. Coupled with the soup, it was a sufficient lunch meal for a great price. I would recommend trying if you haven't.“
“Service was amazing. Matzo ball soup was very good and was light and fluffy. Not too salty. Amazing knish’s and was piping hot! Brisket was very good. Pastrami was amazing and was falling apart in the best way. Krepela was very good. Overall an amazing experience and was worth the $!“
“I have been going to TOGO's forever, and always will. I love their sandwiches they always make them right, and fast. Thanks!Update! Has to be the best Togo's in Sacramento. I have been coming here for years and no one ever failed me.Thanks a million!“
“My wife and I both agree that today we had the best Subway turkey and cheese we can remember. Maybe we were real hungry or they may have changed the bread but I could tell from how it was being put together that this was top sandwich making. I left a tip before even trying it.“
“The clam chowder was AWESOME! I was hot thick and creamy. As far as the service I wanted a soup that was not on that day's menu which they informed me of but also told me if I didn't mind the wait they would have to warm it for me. The soup was the broccoli ? cheddar and it too was delicious. They were polite and friendly and the place was clean.“
“I never dine in here, just pick up sandwiches on my way to work. I love the way they make turkey and avocado with their house spread, and the sourdough is so good! I like that I can call in my sandwich on the way to work and pay cash when I get there. They are usually really busy, and sometimes there is a wait, but they get the food out as fast as they can“
“I ordered the turkey club sandwich on rye bread and it was sooo delicious! The beautifully pleasant young women who prepared my sandwich stuff so with the brightest smile, and followed my special instructions spot on!! ( I like tons of of mustard & onions and sssht diff that but not over powering so) the cashier and mgr. Displayed the same politeness and smile. My first visit here and unbeknownst to me, the store was preparing to close, with that being said I wasn't rushed to place my order, I was received as if I were their first customer of the day! Highly recommend this place!Wonderfully D'Lishous turkey bacon club sandwich and chocolate huge chuck cookie!?“
“I normally wouldn't write a review for fast food joints, but seeing all the undeserved negative reviews inspired me to write this one. I went in to grab a sandwich after moving into the apartment across the street. Seeing the low score made me nervous, but after entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the cleanest subway i have ever seen! The staff was friendly, and patient with my 5 complicated orders, and they were generous with all the ingredients. My brother went into the bathroom and described it as "it felt like it had never been used" because of how clean it was. I'm not sure why it has such low ratings, but my experience was totally different!“
“Me and my boyfriend have been coming to this location for a long time and they've never messed up our orders. They're very polite staff and they care about the sandwiches. I've come in the early afternoon all the way up until just about closing and I never see it get busy really, the wait is never long. I love Togo's and used to live close to one but they closed a few years back so this has become the primary location for us. If you've never had Togo's just remember: yeah it's expensive... BUT it is by far the best sandwich you can get that's "fast food". They always pack it full of meat here, I have never felt like I was skimped out of anything on a sandwich. They go all the way.“
“At one point this was my favorite subway location, but over the past 6 months The service for this location keeps going down.. For my most recent order, today, The exta cheese was not put on. why on earth do they offer something, charge for it and not bother following “
“I had a wonderful experience today with a worker in the ice cream section named Conor. He was very pleasant introduce me and my lady to new flavors of ice cream that we haven't tried before and they were actually pretty good. He was so good that my lady ordered the flavors he suggested.. I of course new what I wanted so I ordered mine as well.. there was a small mishap in the order and I got home and saw it wasn't exactly what I wanted so I went back up to the store and with a smile, Conor was quick to help me and made sure my order was correct and offered me exemplary customer service. I am more than impressed with him. I hope he is promoted soon because he is the best representation I've ever experienced here. Thank you so much Conor, you're amazing. We will definitely be frequenting this place more often due to this experience. I wish I could give 10 Stars!!!“
“Delicious food with a diverse assortment of house sandwiches and a stable of the classics. Their signature sandwich sauce is subtly flavored with garlic and truly enhances the flavor of each bite I took and NOT sweet like everyone else's thousand island or ketchup mayo blends. Corti Bros still makes the best classic and liberally topped sandwich in Sacramento and I never expect them to be bested in that category, but for a sit down sandwich restaurant, Sandwich Spot can't be beat. Oh and the cookies are made in house and are kind of perfect, too.“
“A large menu of subs and drive in favorites. All reasonably priced with 3 size options for the subs. Had a #13 Philly and it was pretty good. Interior is no frills but still clean and well maintained. Service is prompt. A good place for lunch or wings when you have the munchies“
“Picked up a create your own sandwich with Turkey, Salami, Pepper Jack Cheese, and the full works on a French roll! It was sooo good! The bread was nice and soft and the size was on point! I ordered it Togo and it came out fast! The staff is friendly! I had a great first experience there! The chocolate chip cookie was thin and crunchy, so good!“
“This place had very delicious food and they made my sandwich exactly to my tastes! The employee Jot was very friendly and and even made some small talk with me asking about my day and such. I would definitely recommend coming to this subway. …I wanna to give 5/5 point to employees who work very well and an honest way.??“
“Back in the 1970s, when I was still in school, and Togos came about from a "Sandwiches To Go" sign falling down, I always ordered a turkey sandwich with avocado. So thankfully, I was visiting Sacramento and found out that Togos was still here. The sandwich was delicious. I always have loved the bread which is slightly crunchy on the outside, but soft in the middle and not too big. The turkey tasted great as did the avocado and fixings. It was a great memory and a great lunch.“
“It was a great experience. My friend who has trouble eating because of his cancer had made a call ahead of me arriving and they had everything taking care of. The Philly number 17 was outstanding. I will definitely recommend this place over any sandwich shop in Sacramento that I know of. Thank you Jersey Mike's staff for having my friends order taken care of.“
“Togos was a sandwich spot staple before all these fancy artisan shops starting opening up, but I still enjoy a good ol' turkey and avocado from here. And the fact they are paired with a Baskin Robins, even better! We always get the family sized sandwich cause it's massive and easily feeds our family of 5. I will say, I've had the best luck here cause they rarely skimp on the avocado. If you compared the amount of avocado Togos uses it would be equivalent to about $50 worth of avocado at a Chipotle LOL. Mayo and mustard they are a little light handed with so we have to ask for extra otherwise it can be a little dry. We also all really enjoy their soups. Sandwich of the day is the best deal if you're flying solo and need a quick lunch. Bread is much more thicker and doesn't get limp and soggy like Subway either. Overall, Togos is still an OG sandwich spot contender. They may not have all the frills and artisan stuff some of these newer places have, but they still hold their own.“
“This Quiznos is amazing. I got the Black Angus Steakhouse sandwich and it was perfect! It was fully loaded and perfectly toasted. I always get it with a couple sides of Batch 83 sauce, too. It really makes it the perfect sandwich.I really hope Quiznos can make the comeback they deserve. In the meantime, though, I’ll be coming back to this location as often as I can.“
“Good sandwich....the chicken & bacon ranch melt on wheat! Jennifer who greeted me upon entering, made me feel so welcomed. Jennifer's personality and customer service was outstanding! Establishment was very clean and orderly. Overall experience, was excellent.“
“I havent eaten at subway in 12 years. But after they were bought the other day i was like lets give subway a shot. And boy did it pay off. First of all my sandwich literally looks like the commercial thats number one for me. The food should look good but it tastes even better. What your looking at is a subway club the og one roast beef, ham, turkey but i added fresh mozzarella to it. Literally ? plus you cant go wrong with strawberry fanta whole meal damage $19 well Worth it considering the flavors were all correct. Dam subway you might be back on my list of go toos, not just that the woman who helped me was very nice and polite im bout to tip her when i leave. It was a good lunch. Yes it was. I rarely have good reviews too. Note: it was a good deal i made it expensive by adding this drink and that delicious A1 mozzarella but that stuff made the meal betterWheelchair accessibility: Right in front has a wheel chair ramp“
“Usually the sandwiches I get here are awesome except today! Got a mini Italian mikes way add banana peppers before work for lunch - eating lunch right now and there is literally zero mayo or mustard just a dry sandwich How did I miss them not putting Mayo or mustard on????“
“It is a great spot to grab food before traveling with Amtrak. I ordered a cracked pepper Turkey sandwich and a creamy tomato soup combo with small BBQ chips for the train. It only took a 5 min wait, after ordering, since the place is busy during lunch time. The soup is hot and tasted very savory. The sandwich had all the fixings (lettice, tomatoes, etc), and the house sauce compliments the turkey, so it didn't need mustard. Moving forward, I will definitely be grabbing a quick bite before my travels. Also, there is a door right into the station. So you don't miss announcements.Great bonus“
“Friendly staff. And they're generous with the amount of protein and vegetables they add.Vegetarian options: they have a veggie patty option, alternatively you can get a sandwich with just vegetables in it.Dietary restrictions: You can choose your own ingredients, though it isn't obvious as to what specifically is in the protein or sauce options.“
“Did well with my order today. Told them I'd probably be back there for lunch every day as long as I was on my current project, if they continued to do as well. Sadly, I was cut from that project later that same day, so “every day” turned out to be just the one day. But based on the one “every day”, a good review is called for.“
“The service was great, very nice people, food was mostly great. The reason isThey charge a bit extra for avocado, which is fine. They cut an avocado that was rottening. I noticed it at the end before they closed the sandwich. I came home and opened the sandwich and half of avocado pieces was black/rotten which I needed to toss out. I was upset because the woman saw it rotten but still placed it inside and squishing it so I couldn't see. That was my major disappointment. The food overall excluding that was amazing and customer service was nice. Just wish they were more considerate about rotten food, especially when workers see it bad.“
“Best Italian Sandwich I've had in California. Premium meat, cheese, bread and produce. The attention to detail is definitely noticed. Each bite had the perfect crunch to the bread, the right amount of meat, cheese and the produce, especially the tomato's were great! I'm a stickler for tomato's and they put very nice slices of tomato on all drizzled with balsamic and the right dash of oregano, can't tell you how rare this is. Great staff, good vibe. The owner is really hands on and cares about your feedback. A+ Prices are more than fare considering the quality Must visit“
