This was my second visit to The Porch restaurant. The food was great and the service was outstanding. My server took my order and paid attention to all of the substitutions and requests that went with my order (Ham Benedict, stacked on extra fried green tomatoes, no english muffin with a medium-hard egg and a bowl of fruit). My coffee was served in an extra large cup and my server continually watched to make sure my cup was never empty. I went on a Saturday after 1pm for brunch, and dined alone. I didn't have to wait. My overall experience was outstanding!!!

This was our 3red visit. The food was as delicious as the first two visits. My husband didn't care for the meatloaf, but it just wasn't what he expected. He said it wouldn't keep him from returning, though! The service was exceptional. It was a Sunday afternoon, at full capacity, and the noise level was very high. We prefer eating out on the patio when the weather is nice.

Ordered Biscuit & Eggs, Shrimp & Grits, Tuscaloosa Style Fried Green Tomatoes, one (1) pancake, and drinks. Quality biscuits that remind you of the south are hard to come by in California, but The Porch has them. Next time I’m in Sacramento I’ll stop by to try the Brisket & Biscuit dish with a side of their grits. Great restaurant!Parking: If you going Sundays, street parking is free. Otherwise it’ll cost you to park. This restaurant does not have a parking lot.

We were able to get a last minute reservation for Sunday brunch. Biscuit & eggs was delicious, but I regret not ordering the Brisket & Biscuit. If I'm in Sacramento needing breakfast again, I'll make sure to stop by! We sat on the front porch, but the heaters weren't on so it was mildly chilly.

Too slow.. It’s nothing southern about the food.. There’s no flavor! Oof never

Really was looking forward to dining here. Good vibe, not too crowded but service was slow, not very welcoming & long wait time for food. Cocktail was underwhelming but fried green tomatoes with awesome slice of bacon was a highlight. Ordered chicken & waffles, so sad to say chicken was dry & missing flavor. Acoustics weren’t great but it is a nicer dining space

It's the slowest kitchen in town. The food is mediocre. BUT the staff are golden. From bartenders to servers they are the friendliest, nicest you could ever find. Not a place if you're in a hurry.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options

This was my 3rd time coming and will be my LAST! Only one other table there and our food took an HOUR to come out.Troy B the waiter never once came to the table to give an update or apologize for the delay after waiting an HOUR, we asked just to have it boxed to go. Troy gave us our check with an attitude and didn’t even say good bye to us or include plastic silverware in the Togo bag. We weren’t rude to him even after the delay. Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE ! It sucks because we’ve been here before an had great service and food but this was beyond HORRIBLE .

I had a few friends recommended this restaurant. Unfortunately, my daughter and I were not too impressed. I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were delicious, but the BBQsauce that was poured all over it was not good!! It tasted like cheap bottled sauce. It ruined the dish. The shrimp were small and very underwhelming. My daughter ordered the brisket meatloaf. It was overly seasoned to the point it was hard to eat. The biscuit and gravy was ok. It was pretty hard in my opinion. We shared a banana pudding for desert and it was good. We had to ask the waiter for refills on our drinks even tho he had passed by multiple times and didn't just do it on his own. It was fine, but I doubt we would go back.

Service was chaotic and slow (and the restaurant was very slow); food (fried chicken and shrimp and grits) was okay. Disappointing as I was looking forward to returning there after a long absence.

We got the gumbo and shrimp & grits which both were not good. The food made us sick and the restaurant did not feel clean. Suggest avoiding The
