I'm not a usual coffee drinker but I stopped by today after smelling the bakery items a couple days ago. The cafe is located in Mercy General Hospital Plaza. The place is simply but warmly decorated. I got a strawberry croissant that was baked this morning and a regular sized mocha. The owner was super friendly and offered me a discount since I had to wait a couple minutes. I tried to decline but she insisted. Wow! I really enjoyed everything. I will likely be a regular customer
Great place, peaceful and a good place to do your work/schoolwork at. The owners are friendly and they always seem to cheer me up on a low day. The food is great, my favorite are the breakfast burritos. Regina's cilantro sauce is also the greatest and I highly recommend it as a side for your salad, sandwiches, or burritos.
Parking is easy if you work at the hospital, but anybody can make it in if you just look for a parking spot somewhere nearby. I came here before in August and I met the owners and let me tell you what the most wonderful people. I was able to do a photo session and they treated me like a Houston King over here I was so impressed to find Southern hospitality so far from home. I told all of my media friends about you and you can expect some special visitors to come for pictures...read full review
