I ordered a tomato beef fried noodles. I have never tasted such terrible Cantonese noodles. It tasted so bad that I doubted my life.Tomato beef is basically beef in tomato sauce, and the noodles are basically harder than crispy noodles. Tomato sauce is poured over the crispy noodles. It's really hard to imagine who invented it.

Delicious Cantonese/southern Chinese seafood and dim sum restaurant. More upscale and thus more expensive than other equally delicious local alternatives. Food: Dim sum dishes - 4/5 - very good but not exceptional; also relatively overpriced /more bougey. Dim sum is to be ordered hot and fresh from the menu House/wor vs regular wonton soup - 4.5/5 - wonton with other protein variety which overall was very good, but I've definitely have had better wontons House combination fried rice - 5/5 - one of the best Salted egg shrimp and pumpkin - 5/5 - just delicious! A favorite that you must try! Lobster, salted egg style - 5/5 - this style surprisingly works really well for seafood and personally tastes as good as the scallion(green onion) and ginger, my previous favorite lobster style Walnut shrimp - 5/5 - very delicious crispy fried covered sweet mayonnaise and walnuts Black pepper chicken - 4/5 - pretty good Rainbow chicken - 5/5 - excellent taste and aesthetics Seafood satay rice noodle in clay pot - 5/5 - delicious seasoned/sauteed glass noodle with seafood Yue huang vs seafood pan fried noodle - 5/5 - excellent version of a classic Chinese country style rice noodle - 5/5 - delicious stir fry of glass noodle with sautéed protein Yue huang chow fun dry - 5/5 - another fantastic version of a classic wide rice noodle dish Beef chow fun dry - 5/5 - love this w Seafood chow fun with egg wet - 5/5 - if you love seafood + egg + chow fun rice noodle Ambience: Large spacious dining area featuring beautiful Chinese traditional art Service: Fast and friendly

Great food, inattentive service. Took four tries to get water. 3 tries to get some forks, until we stood up to get our own. But the good consistent food brings me back. I'm literally a glutton for punishment.

The left is what I ordered and the right is what came. The waiter said they are the same thing.

Spur last minute that I have extended family in the neighborhood, I was looking for a dim sum place and this popped up on Yelp. Restaurant decoration was pleasing to the eyes. Dim sum is by menu order, not ones that walk around and you chose. Not a big deal. The food is relatively tasty and fast to come. Draw back from menu order vs you chose from walking by items that you choose. Had to constantly arranging items on lazy Susan to get room. Servers are very attentive. The bill came with gratuity added and circled but little mis-leading of trying to get additional 18% on top of already automatically added 18%. Overall, good place to visit comparing to all nowaday. we may revisit since it's not that far from home.

The food here is usually consistent and quick. Chicken chow mein, rainbow chicken (is SPICY), greenbean chicken in blackbean sauce (not on the menu; will make if you ask) are some of our family favorites. They don't have egg rolls which is different, but nonetheless this place is yummy. This is order individual plates to share, no combo plates here.

Great food! The Hot & Sour soup is the best along with the wonderful ton soup. I also recommend the pot stickers. Beeb here several times fir take out and the atmosphere is inviting and pleasant. The staff is courteous and helpful. Good for a group or a date. The attire is casual. Clean and spacious. Might be a bit pricey but I believe its worth it.

Came here for dinner and the majority of dinner was delicious. The servers were very kind and fast. We did not have to wait to get a table on a weeknight during dinner time. We ordered mapo tofu, pan-fried noodles, peking duck, honey walnut prawns, and the fried flounder. Most dishes were were a solid 4/5 and I would reorder again. The mapo tofu could have used more spice but this was understandable since the restaurant served pre-dominantly Cantonese style food and apparently in 2018 they won "The Best Cantonese Cuisine Restaurant". However, I would not say that their Peking Duck is actually what most would consider Peking Duck. The duck is served with some pieces sliced boneless but on top of a bed of bone-in duck with some meat on it. It is not sliced in a traditional way and majority of the pieces served are bone-in. It's served with steamed buns, which I actually prefer over the traditional pancake style, but it's hard to enjoy with most pieces having bones. I'd come back to see how the dim sum is, since it seems very popular from the reviews but would not order the peking duck again.

I've never been to a dim sum spot before...but OMG! I wish this spot was in my home city because I would be there every week. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. I can't even remember what we ordered because I felt like our table was overflowing with food and I couldn't get enough until the food coma hit me!! Can't wait to be in Sacramento again to eat here again! 5 Stars!!

A friend had good dim sum experience recently and invited us group of nine to try family dinner. We drove one and half hour and happy to say it worth our trip. Restaurant looks nice and clean. We reserved a table of nine in advance but they seated us at the corner by the restroom entrance which was a little disappointed. We ordered the $288 family menu good for 10 people. Entrees came out good portions, colorful and delicious. Service was good, server changed our plates twice during our course dinner. I took out one star because the steam chicken dish was icy cold and the red bean dessert did not taste good. Since restaurant served dim sum in the morning, they can prepare mini steamed custard buns, almond pudding or sesame balls etc for course dinner dessert easily and this was our second disappointment. Lastly, unexpected $2 tea charged per person on our bill and we should be informed at beginning. Overall, will come back again for second visit in the future.

The restaurant did us dirty today. This was our go-to Cantonese restaurant. After my partners being stuck in Hwy 80 for 2 days, we decided to surprise them with dinner but they didn't want to go out so wife picked up food. We made rice at home but decided to splurge on Peking duck. Ok, so we opened it at home, and they gave us roast duck instead. They cheated us. Very disappointing. Most went to trash.

Yue Huang is my favorite dim sum spot in Sacramento! I came with my family on a weekend day and came right when they opened so the wait wasn't bad at all, and they already had tables seated when we got there! The food came out extremely quickly which impressed me a lot. My favorite dishes we ordered were the beef tripe as well as the shrimp dumplings which are always a classic. You really can't go wrong at Yue Huang. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a dim sum spot in Sacramento.

This place is pretty great for DimSum. Better than most of the places around town, great variety of food, actually quite a bit more than we knew about until we saw a menu when we were leaving with lots of other food items.
