As always this venue does not disappointGreat food very attentive service and they are ALL volunteers.Chairs are a little hard and many people come for events so it's loud and a bit tight.
I love this place! John Steinbeck is my favorite author of all time and this restaurant preserves the rich history of this house where he was born and raised! Got the opportunity to enjoy their 50th anniversary and the free hors d'oeuvres were delicious! The volunteers that make up the staff are amazing people and made the entire experience very memorable! I can’t wait to come back for lunch!

This is a very picturesque location with good food as well. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the house are are sure to let you know the details of each room as you enter.We had the BLT with avocado and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Both were quite good and a perfect portion.This is a wonderful location for lunch in the childhood home of one of America’s great authors.
