“I really shouldn't be posting this but for the sake of not being that guy who gate keeps, here I go. This little time capsule is one of the last places that has that old school early 2000's plate size, ambience, and frankly the price as well. Or at least in my eyes it's more than fair, especially in today's economy. The wait will be longer, and completely justified given the traffic and the quality of the food. It's a small, family owned business and a real hole in the wall, the kind that makes you feel like we're still in the good old times. Stop by and see what you're missing.Parking: Street Parking can be tough to find even in the later parts of the day.“
“My son got me hooked on Fluffy's kitchen! I'm happy to say that when you ask for spicy.... You seriously get spicy! Get here early before they sell out (especially the carne asada! Love you Fluffy's, thank you for feeding my belly with deliciousness“
“We walked past this place for a few years when going to eat Japanese next door. Then we finally decided to give to the place a try. Man had we only known what we were missing. The food is great, and plentiful. The service is really good. We haven't had a meal yet that we didn't enjoy.“
“Went to this random local mexican place to get some Tacos after landing in SFO. Ordered the Prawn Taco, Chicken Taco & Grill Fish Taco from their menu along with some fries. The place is really small, so you might not get a table, but I was lucky to find one as I went there slightly earlier than the lunch rush hour. They served Chips n Guac complimentary and pointed me to the Salsa station, which was fantastic. They offered about 6-7 different types of Salsas (varying heat level) along with pickled onions & pico de gallo. All the Salsas were great, and I could pick my favorite ones in whatever quantities. The Tacos arrived quickly and were AMAZING. The ingredients were fresh and so flavorful. Prawn & Grill fish taco were my favorites. The server did forget to get me water, so I had to ask twice, but overall was fine. The lunch hour hit, and there was a lineup at this place, so you know they are good!“
“These are probably the best tacos I've had in the Bay Area! They are so good and it's a good bang for your buck. If you are in the area, definitely try them. Also, I asked them their hours and they said 10am-10pm, Monday-Friday. Hope this helps!“
“No frills taco truck with a very limited menu. I love places like this because they know what they're good at and they do it well. The carne asada and carnitas tacos were perfectly cooked and the salsa was great. Prices are even better. The offspring got a super burrito and he said it's the best one he's had on this side of the bay. Parking is a hassle as it sits on the busy El Camino real across from Tanforan and next to the Shell gas station. Once you do find parking, the line moves pretty quickly. Definitely the best value and quality for your money around!“
“Food is really tasty and tacos are the bomb. Wish they offered nachos. Order was correct since I don't like lettuce on my burritos. They always get my order right. They have no seTing, but it's a food truck.Al Pastor TacosCarne Asada Tacos“
“Loved this food! First visit, just happened to see it after leaving the airport. The food was delicious and plentiful, served on a large platter. I ordered a combo with tamale, tostada, and enchilada. It came with beans and rice too. My husband got steak and chili relleno. Every bite was good, even the leftovers the next day. I will make this a stop when in the city.“
“Great food ... Fresh and refreshing ... The staff was attentive and a wonderful change ... (They don't come to bother you every 5 minutes)The pricing of the food items are perfect and the flavors are wonderful... Close to the airport so if you're ever hungry after a flight or have time to kill before a flight. Great place to go!“
“Shoutout to Wilton for giving his honest recommendation to me when having difficulties choosing between the grande (chicken) and the cabo (shrimp). He recommended the grande. I asked for the spiciest salsa and black beans. I'm not the best photographer, so my pictures don't do justice. Just know, I finished the whole thing in one sitting. Felt there wasn't that much chicken in there, but the black beans in the burrito were sweet and immaculate. As for the spiciest salsa, no kick what so ever. Maybe my tolerance is high? Appreciate Wilton and any other person who gives their honest opinion on food when I have a hard time deciding. If I can sense passion when I ask a cook that question, then they're honest, and I appreciate that. Thank you, Wilton!“
“OK, comming back from SFO late at night you dont have many choices in this part of town. The usual buger places like In and Out and some sit down places like Jacks. We were looking for some Burritos and we got it at Araunjo's. Wanting a quick in and out we threaded through the maiz they have to get in (youhave to go up the stairs and around the side in back. This is your standard Burrito place and they have all types. The burritos were large and excellent, however the service was fantastic. The host (who was about 80',) sat us down and served us unlimited drinks (coke and Horchata). It was nice to sit down and be comfortable after traveling to SFO. BEtter yet when we made it back to Pacifica and ate our Burritos. There was enough left over for the next day.“
“I was walking down the avenue and twelve clay pots over burners on the patio caught my eye. Today I was determined to get seafood, but as I walked by I was drawn in by the certain variety of choices and seeing the ladies cooking fresh tortillas right there. I looked at everything and decided on three tacos. One pinto bean and cactus, one shredded chicken and one pumpkin flower. I also had freshly made melon juice, or rather agua de melon. The music is a driving techno ranchera as close as I can describe, the staff is friendly and upbeat. The tortilla lady works the masa with the beat. Cooks dancing while they cook, customers bopping to the beat, waitresses lip synch and strut around. It’s just a Sunday afternoon @ Taqueria Leon on “the avenue “. Everything was exquisite and it was a very pleasurable and satisfying meal.“
“Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered the tacos dorados. They come in a plate of four for $14. They had avocado and the best tasting shrimp combined with the crunch of the taco shell! So good. Came with red salsa that turned up the heat. The tacos were like the kind of food that you keep eating even though you are full!! I felt great after four, but honestly could have had another four! There are plastic chairs to sit down, but it's way better to take the food to go. I'm glad Google suggested this place, perhaps it was the best seafood near me!“
