March 2024 update: the variety of pizzas offered during the buffet has really gone downhill. Usually just two pizzas available at any time. I can't recommend going anymore.The buffet really hit the spot.

Watched an NBA game, college basketball ?, and Olympics on two different big screens. Good volume, not too loud. Amazing pizza as always, best crust. Clean, fast, great beer selection. Great way to end an evening of adventures with my son.Parking: Short walk from available street parking on El Camino Real. My understanding is there is a good sized lot in the back but never needed to go there.

The pizza tastes pretty good and I like their specials (certain weekdays 50% off larges for example). Staff seems friendly and nice. However, I've been here twice already where I ordered multiple pizzas for pick up and somehow, they gave someone else my order and had to re-make my pizzas. They kept telling me it would take 5 mins when in actuality it took 20 each time. It might help if someone wrote on the outside of the box what pizza is in there and/or tape an order ticket or something on the pizzas so you don't give the wrong pizzas to the wrong customer. The old pizzeria I went to in my previous residence marked the outside of the box with 3 letter code to let everyone know what pizza is in there so I hope the workers here will start marking too so this doesn't keep happening. I call my order in so the pizza is ready by the time I arrive to be picked up. I don't do it so I can waste time and wait around 20 minutes for it to be made.
Mountain Mikes when it was in Redwood City was very good. Since moving to San Carlos the service has gone down hill. Consistently great pizza. The salad bar is fresh and has an abundance of toppin's. If you're not happily stuffed, or at least merrily content after have eaten at their amazing buffet, it can only be by your own choice...LOTS of food! It's smaller and cozy, which gives it more of a neighborhood hangout vibe than a giant, heartless corporate machine.Vegetarian options: I'm pretty sure that they have a non-gluten dough option, but I'm not positive since I don't have Celiacs.Kid-friendliness: Pinball, video games and a fantastic number of TV's with sports.
