Finally got a chance to try this place for the first time. It was a beautiful sunny weekend. Strolling on Laurel in San Carlos passing by this place, their patio was just so inviting so we couldn't help sitting down in those cozy leather chairs, our dogs could also comfortably stretch out and relax. They have a huge overhang so it's all protected. They have a couple low table cozy leather sofa chair seating, also a few high tables with an industrial rustic style I would say, which is super nice and modern. This is a true pizza place. They have a very attractive menu with all the DIY pizza options. Our pizza came out super colorful and soooooo delicious! They made the thin crust truly very thin which I love. We also orders the classic Greek salad, it's a huge portion and pretty good too. He said he likes his beer. The service is quick and attentive. I asked for extra olive oil to drizzle on the pizza and salad she brought it out right away. It was such an enjoyable experience there. We'll definitely go back soon.

Ordered a 14" BYO Deep dish with sausage and spinach for delivery. Requested it well done. Size is probably good for 3-4 people. The dough itself was nice and chewy. I wished it had a bit more tomato sauce on the top layer. Overall, average deep dish that was fine, but I wouldn't necessarily seek out this establishment over others.

This place used to be a great premium pizza place, but it seems to be going downhill. The last time I was there, the interior was uncomfortably frigid, one person's pizza arrived before the starters and the other was cold on arrival. We had to flag down the servers multiple times for the same request, the restrooms were inaccessible, and the food just wasn't as tasty and fresh as it used to be.

Fantastic Chicago "stuffed" deep-dish style pizza. This is the type of pizza with a wheat crust with an extra layer of dough on top of the toppings, typified by Giordano's in Chicago. (Bay Area locals may be familiar with this style at Zachary's in Berkeley.)

The worst service I’ve encountered in San Carlos. Really disappointed that Louis and the girl he was working w (curly/bushy hair) were the most inattentive servers I’ve ever had. Our kids food came out cold. Took it back to come back a few mins later heated up from the microwave. Pizza was decent but a courtesy to let you know there’s an up charge $5 each side to split pizza toppings. Very disappointing. Was never given refills or checked up on to see how the food was or if we needed anything else. Don’t waste your money!

one of the best deep dishes Ive had in a long time. The Ingredients tasted fresh and they perfectly baked it. Employees are very friendly and made sure I was taken care of. Really liking all the updates they have done in the past few months. The bar looks great and tons of TVs to watch all the sports I can at one time.

Kind of loud. Good deep dish pizza. If you are ordering online, be careful that you check the ingredients closely. We tried to get a vegetarian pizza and it was filled with sausage.

Great food, amazing service! But it's under stuff. I understand it's hard to estimate when it get busy. They need those QR code to place order n pay bills.

The Chicago Ultimate deep dish was good. Not that many deep dish pizzas available in this area, missing Windy City...

We used to go to the Palo Alto location but this is so much nicer. Open and airy space along a pedestrian street. If it was summer I would have stayed for a strollWe always order a large so we have leftovers for lunch the next couple days

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me after my posted review, and after I described my experience further, he offered to make it right on our next visit. We went back last weekend, and this time the pie came out much closer to what we'd normally expect. I'll assume that something went wrong in the kitchen last time, and am upgrading my rating.

I ordered a deep dish pizza through uber eats and the dough in the center was completely raw. It's hard to show in a photo, but this was very disappointing. I took one bite and was not very happy to taste raw dough. I only gave 2 stars because the spinach and artichoke dip was good.

What has happened?? Been coming here 2-3 times a month since they opened in 2015. And Palo Alto and SF before that! Only 2 front of house folks and 1 in the kitchen. The woman bartending was actually the hostess. The "manager" was teaching her how to tend bar. Ordered a margarita and the manager made it - it was mixed blue? Half of the taps were empty. Took three tries to get our pizza right. They lost another customer's credit card. The kicker was, we were still eating and I asked for another beer. The manager rushed over and abruptly said they were closed as of 8pm. It couldn't have been more than 8:02 and no last call was announced. Searching for the other customer's credit card was the excuse for no last call. WTH? I will add they shut down, unannounced, with 6 minutes to go in Monday Night Football and well before halftime on a Warriors game. Patxi's Corporate: PLEASE STEP IN!!!
