This is a great spot! My husband and I brought our dog and sat outside. Immediately, and without asking, the staff brought our dog a bowl of water and two treats. They brought him two more treats after about 30 minutes too. I had a Bloody Mary and my husband had a screwdriver. Both very tasty. To eat I had a croissant melt with tuna and my husband had the breakfast burrito. The tuna melt was amazing, and he said the burrito was very good too. This is a breakfast and lunch place in a historic setting at the base of an old hotel. This gem served us a terrific lunch consisting of a tuna wrap, veggie wrap, and a Greek wrap. All were superb and satisfying. A small bag of Lay's potato chips came with each wrap. They want you to check the menu before you enter because the area to place your order is quite small. It has the best outdoor dining in this area of San Clemente, but the outdoor seating is very limited. Great food...read full review

Very nice exterior, and sitting on the outdoor patio in the morning for breakfast was a great way to start a California vacation. The food was delicious and fresh. I like a bit of spice on my eggs, and the Tabasco was just right. I also appreciated how friendly they were to dogs and their owners, even if they weren't stopping in to eat.
