Went and grabbed a bite after going to yu spa. Delicious taro milk tea (best I've ever had) and bimbimbap! Fresh ingredients served quickly and very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Although not advertised as gluten free, was able to eat. Will definitely be back!!

This place has the best bento boxes you'll find in San Diego. Great portions for its price and the place is incredibly clean and well done. Will be back for more because this place does food the way every restaurant should.

Honestly a bit disappointed. The food wasn't horribly bad but it also wasn't anything special. We got the Korean rolls which kinda lacked any flavor or seasoning. I asked for soy sauce and they didn't have any. I did take some broth from the ramen and it did help a little. Also got the ramen and it was just ordinary. Better than top ramen but not near as good as other places. Plus there was an egg shell in it. The service was good nothing wrong there. Also when looking at pictures on Yelp it appears they had these brick bread things that looked very delicious but appears the menu has changed. Not sure if I'd be back again. Maybe but not am extensive menu so probably not.

First time here and was disappointed that the menu has changed. I saw pix of bread bowls in Yelp which prompted us to visit this place but it is no longer in their menu. The ramen was just slightly better than Top ramen. The Korean roll was edible. Needless to say...we're not coming back here.

I've had this place bookmarked for awhile and I've been wanting to try their "Brick Bowl", only to find out at lunch today, that they stopped serving it. Like what? The main item, which your business is also named after, is discontinued?!? I was so disappointed. And in return, they now serve mediocre korean/japanese food. I ordered the Udon Noodle with Tempura Combo, she said no more tempura, so I said okay, give me the other option which is cali roll. Then my cousin orders, pays, then we sit down. His food comes out. 30mins later, where's mine? I go to ask the lady and she looked confused and surprised. She didn't put in my order because she said they were out. Like first of all, you said the tempura was out, now you say the udon is out. Like how about what DO you have? My cousin got the ramen, and it was literally like instant noodles you can make at home. Poor portion size, poor quality, poor ingredients. I ended up with the yakisoba with beef. Presentation wasn't bad, but noodles had no flavor, and there was way too many onions in there. And sriracha must be fake cause it wasn't a single bit of spice in there. Disappointed. I feel like only people from Yu Spa eat here.

There's no more bread here! They changed their whole menu. I wanted bread with meats and cheeses and all they have is basic rice and noodle dishes. Very disappointed

I'm giving this a One Star only because they no longer have the sourdough brick bowls any longer. It was an "AWESOME" food item and I have no idea why they stopped. They need to either change the name or bring the Brick Bowls back!!!

They don't serve brick bowls anymore. Change your name! Change your website menu! Close your business ...

I have to say, this place is pretty yummy. I went here in the middle of my spa day at Yu Spa, which is an amazing spa connected to this place. They are famous for this brick bread meal. So I got one with pesto, chicken, sourdough and mozzarella. It was greasy and delicious! I think they are on to something with this bread meal for only $5.50 (because it was the mini one) I also ordered the bibimbap ($11) which had all the right salty, sweet, and savory flavors I was looking for in this Korean dish. I will probably go again on another one of my spa days because it's the only food I can grab while at the spa. Go check it out!

Perfect place to eat after the Korean spa! I got the greasy pesto bowl. Basically a bread bowl stuffed with all kinds of yummy things A sourdough bread bowl. For sure a yummy meal. I got the "greasy pesto" bread bowl that includes Italian sausage.

They offer a $6 lunchtime combo special (Monday to Friday): a Bricklite (which is not a bowl but more like an open-faced sandwich) + sparkling vinegar drink. The most popular and most recommended selection is the Korean rib eye. The lychee vinegar drink goes well with it. The combo special is filling and yet also much less in cost than ordering a bowl. Patience might be required to order. Those working here seem to prefer to hang out in the back rather than anywhere you can see them - or they can see you. They also like to stand in front talking on their phones. Fortunately, food comes out quicker than the time waiting to order - and is also quite tasty.

Took nearly ten minutes just for this guy to take my order. During the process, this dude left the cash register open full blast and walked away for two of those minutes. I even saw a hundred dollar bill with other cash. LOL Then the food came, cold meatballs, on the wrong bread, this after waiting 15 minutes. And then they forgot my egg. Scratch another restaurant off my already short list.

Interesting concept for a meal and super filling! I found this place from yelp and decided to give it a try. The service was super nice and friendly. I like that you can make your own bowl with customizable options. Both of these bowls were make your own, one was a pesto with meatballs and veggies and the other was a Hawaiian bbq sauce with chicken and veggies. Don't be fooled by the size, it's actually pretty heavy and filling. A little greasier than I would've liked but overall tasted good. The apple cider vinegar drink was also surprisingly really good! The mango/pineapple flavor was sweet and refreshing and was only $2 more after getting a bread bowl.
