This family is from Northeast China, and in China their area is famous for being 水饺 (boiled dumpling) masters.Everything we tried was "the best" (read, our favorite) version of that dish that we've had in San Diego, and any one of them would have been top tier even back in China.The flavors here are perfectly balanced, the ingredients are high quality and fresh, and you can tell the owners and staff put incredible care and a huge amount of work into this place.Their daughter is also super cute and sassy! “We love this place! Great value for lunch especially (all you can eat option) - the meat selection is limited for lunch but that's ok, we love the angus beef and order that over and over again. Much broader selection at dinner, costs more. Service is efficient - they bring out more meat quickly when you ask for it instead of lolly-gagging around hoping you'll eat less. The meat is freshly sliced - you can hear the slicer going (quietly) in the kitchen. Vegetables are fresh and we like the cold salads. The original broth is outstanding - just the right blend of seasonings in a rich broth. This is a cook your own of course. For families that want two different types of broth there are divided pots and several vegetarian options. Dessert is included - a small scoop of ice cream, green tea or fruit flavor of the day. Our favorite veggies for the pot are bok choy, pea sprouts and various types of mushrooms. Location is convenient, on Clairemont Mesa Blvd right off Genesee and there is plenty of parking. 5 stars!“

Ayce can be rightfully expensive, but $35+$3 aycDrink was very reasonable for everything offered. Place has a lax, non-pretentious feel. Several solid soup bases to choose from (Mala/Mushroom for us), meat/seafood options were great along with dozens of other staples. Food service was fast and staff were all very friendly/helpful, no sign of "being annoyed" at your requests that I feel a lot of places don't manage or temper enough. Oh and they even cover dessert. Shoutout to the $3 drink add-on with fresh watermelon juice, herbal tea and passionfruit options. Definitely making it back here. We frequent this and the Mira Mesa location almost monthly at this point ever since we found out about it. it's a bad habit at this point, really lol Order food by the pound, about $14 per lb with a lb minimum. You can pick either dry pot or soup. My favorite soups are original with some spice and curry. I have yet to try the dry pot, but I will definitely try the next time I go. I love all the pickings at the bar and if youre into intestines in your soups, they have pig intestines, which is my favorite! This may be off-putting to some people, but if you're willing to try, its fatty, juicy, and pretty flavorful! highly recommend if you love hotpot and don't want to do al the cooking on your own!“
“So pleasantly surprised by this place! We got the both XLB flavors, a couple of the dumplings, orange chicken and chicken chow mein. The noodles in the chow mein were slightly overcooked but that didn't take away from the flavor. All the dumplings were delicious and the orange chicken was some of the best I've had. Crispy and sweet but not overly sweet. We have picky kids and all of them devoured the food. Prices were fair and we are looking forward to returning! “TL;DR good spot with some amazing items (e.g. intestine spicy noodles) albeit slightly lacking in depth of soup flavor but worthy of a late-night meal Spicy Noodle is a good spot with a small selection of noodle dishes with some accompanying side dishes like lamb skewers and other from the Chengdu region of China. Most of the staff here spoke fluent Mandarin and you have an ordering system similar to what you'd find in prototypical Chinese establishments. That shouldn't deter you, this place is a good spot to satisfy a noodle craving Here's where I'll be a little bit more critical. The meal itself was decently priced around $17 for a single person ordering one item after taxes/tip. The food wasn't spicy imo and barely broke a sweat albeit I do enjoy spice so this could also be an individual scenario. The broth was also somewhat lacking in depth of flavor. It could have been that the intestines soaked up most of the flavor as the intestines were much more flavor-packed, however, I enjoy a richer broth and this was slightly stronger than the seasoning you might get with some spicy noodle packet All that is to say, it wasn't the most impressive place but the intestines noodle dish was above satisfactory simply because it's a hard dish especially cleaning the intestines from having a gritty texture. I commend them for this alone, everything else are nitpicks for me but would definitely consider returning as they had some other dishes that caught my eye like their spicy beef noodle dish“

We had the chow mein with beef, spring rolls, fried tofu, combination noodle soup with flat rice noodles and roasted duck noodle soup with thin rice noodles. Al were delicious. The roasted duck was flavorful and not oily. Love the clean taste of the broth. Can't ever go wrong with spring rolls. The tofu might have been a tad bit over fried but it's not gonna hinder this review. The chow men was delicious. The noodles were deep fried and it held the gravy well. I got the pork belly mixed with veggies garlic flavor and the beef slices with potatoes & broccoli spicy flavor. The food itself was basically comfort Chinese food, it comes with noodles or rice depending on your preference. Overall, the dishes were a tad bit salty but if you eat it with rice it balance out the flavor. Def give it a try if you want something different from the usual hot pot.“
