Gaglione's cheesesteaks are (obviously) the best in San Diego. My mom's from Philly and I've been many times, and I still think Gaglione's makes the best cheesesteak I've ever had. It's a fairly small shop but the vibes are great, you're greeted with smiles and hellos when you walk in and the staff is just awesome. I ordered a mushroom cheesesteak. It was awesome and then we also got a pizza cheesesteak and that was awesome. It was nice and hot and ready when we got there. No complaints. Definitely will order from there

My "go to meal" for years! And it's still on point! The turkey is fresh, not sliced but chunks. That's what makes it so yummy! You can't see the avocados in the sandwich but they're in there.
