This is my east corridor north county hideout spot. I am an onion ring maniac and these guys have the best going. Never had the ice cream machine cocktails but they look delightful. Easy parking, easy service, easy seating, great food what more do you want?

Love that there are so many options and everything I’ve every tasted has been great. Excellent fish and chips, burgers, salads and sandwiches. Beer selection is decent and always ice cold. Fast, friendly service and a great vibe. Family friendly and perfect spot for later evening dining. My “go to” after picking up guests at the airport with late flights. Excellent Happy Hour options as well. The Waygu burger and fish and chips are our top 2 picks.

I like the ambience here. The food is ok. I got the salmon salad but didn't like the taste of the salmon nor the sauce that came with it. My son got chicken fingers which were good. My husband got Philly cheesecake which was great.

The burgers were warm but not hot like it just came off the stove. Onion ring was size of an actual ring. The Mac n cheese with bacon taste good BUT, not hot enough nor anything special. Plus, I had to ask for more bacon. A small cup of Mac n cheese $7 and you can't make it hot with graded cheese on top with plenty of bacon?? Back to the burger; well its forgettable nothing special. And I had to ask for the table to be wiped "clean". Hard pass for me! Not worth the wait for food not even fresh off the stove.

This is the place to go for burgers and suchGot a "My boy blue" (changed out the cooked onions for red!), and it is so good & juicy. BEST onion rings ever! They have friendly and attentive service.Kid-friendliness: Tons of families were there as well as adults.

Went here a few weeks back. The portion sizes are not your standard American burger. Had the veggie burger and they were tiny for the price. Menu is very confusing. When you see fries/onion rings listed on top of a burger menu section, you think its included as a side. But we were told that they are not after the meal. Ambience is a plus. Pet and family friendly. Drinks are decent.

Brussel sprouts were over saturated with the oil and vinegar it comes with.Hamburger was floppy. The buns over-soaked with butter yet not crispy enough.Too much mayo.Meat tasted good though. Cooked and flavored well. One of the better fast food places I’ve been.

Ate at this restaurant on a recommendation and we’re disappointed. The concept is, you walk in, place your order and they bring it to your table. Found the food to be pretty average, really nothing special. The burgers lacked taste, just something missing. The whole dining experience here left us pretty disappointed, we were expecting more. All in all your average place for hamburgers.

Love:The sauce selection is great and each burger comes with a onion ring on top!Don’t love:Meat had a good crust but was over cooked for my preference.Price: $9-$12 per burgerRec Level:If you like well done burgers this is your spot!Tip:jalapeño ranch was $$ and it’s a great place to bring friends who don’t want burgers if you want one since they have other non burger options.

Grub Burger location is right in the middle of Carmel Mountain Ranch. There is lots of open seating, cool looking bar area, and a good place to have groups. You order at the counter and they bring the food. For the price I thought the food was just ok. I had a turkey cob salad and the the turkey was ground up turkey patties so not really tasty. I came on a week day and they were totally open until about 12:30 pm and then they filled up with a lunch crowd.I came back again and the staff was friendly but the food was just ok. I had the sourdough burger and it looked great but tasted just ok and the onion rings were essentially tasteless.

Love this place! Quick friendly service, good recommendations. Burger was so fresh and delicious! We both had the bacon burger - I added avocado and my friend had a gluten free bun. She said it was the best gluten free burger bun she's ever had - and she's picky! Fries were so hot and fresh and well seasoned. Sweet potato fries were very tasty, too! Burgers can be messy, so I appreciated the roll of paper towels at our table. We sat outside where I could be in the shade while my friend had a little sun. It was very comfortable outside - even in November! Will definitely be back!

This is great spot for lunch, dinner, or a work get-together. I went on a weekday afternoon with the kids, the line was quick, service was good, and the food is always good. The kids menu is simple and just enough (maybe a little more) for a 5+. The kids mac & cheese is good. I had their shake for the first time on this trip and they’re really good. Get the ultimate crispy bird sandwich!

If you're looking for a "fancy burger" but don't want to pay an arm & a leg, the lunch deal at Grub is pretty fantastic. Not the best burger I've ever had. The fries are 7/10 at best. Their sweet potato fries and onion rings are both better. But for $11.50 - pretty much any of their burger offerings and fries - it's one of the best deals I found in California so far. The burger is very decent. I would say a touch under seasoned, but cooked quite nicely. And it's big! The stuff that comes with the burger is done very well, whether it be the crunchy bacon, grilled sweet onions, or luscious mushrooms. Every Burger comes with an onion ring on top. More onion and a little less breading would be better, but come on, you didn't even ask for it and although not perfect, it still tastes pretty damn good! The restaurant itself feels very outdoorsy. All the windows are open and there's a big patio space outside. I wish the tables were less sticky but ultimately, it's a burger pub. At least your shoes don't make a sticky sound when you walk to the restroom, and the restroom is actually clean - no lingering vomit smell like some of the other pubs I've been to. In summary, good burger, nice environment, decent prices.

I am giving Grub a 3 star rating. I will say the food was great and would give a 4 star for quality, taste and portion size. What I have issue with is the cleanliness. I give this a 2 star for lack of care to cleaning tables, doors, tv, tables. I ate in outside covered section. The tv's have splatter on the screens, tables were surface cleaned but looks like no deep clean where the muck is fully cleaned often. The floor is black with caked on food/grease. Has not been deep cleaned for some time. The door they use from the kitchen to this area was dirty and gross. Watching the severs grab the caked on handle every time they go in and out was worrisome. Walls in areas also had splatter and fingerprints etc. if this place decides to do better at cleaning the place I'll come back. Not until then.
