“Ordered here three times now and consistently delicious. Love the veggie samosas goat curry chicken tikka and chicken tandoori. This place also has good lunch specials. I had an Indian restaurant I swore by back in oc and have been struggling to find one I love this place is giving my favorite place a run for its money“
“This place is easily 5 stars! Super friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They are definitely passionate about their restaurant and it shows. The food was delicious. There are so many awesome looking dishes on the menu. We can't wait to come back and try more of their food!Vegetarian options: This place has lots of options for vegetarian folks!“
“Food was delicious. Immediately after my order was placed, they got to work on it. It was pretty quick for only one worker. Drove it the 10 min to my hotel room and it was still warm when I got to my room. I ordered samosas, treena roll and naan wrap with veggie meatballs. Each one delicious. Wish they had a location closer to home but it was a great spot to try while on my travels.“
“We had an awesome experience here ! The atmosphere and music were lovely, the service (waiter: Kirk) was attentive and fast, and the food was delicious. We got the chicken tikka masala and the chicken wings, with garlic naan. Will definitely be coming back!“
“Great food no doubt, unfortunately this time the wait time was unreasonable, placed the take out order and was told it would be about 20 minutes..... about 50 minutes later had to ask to check on the order, after which they came out with it promptly so I guess it was sitting in the kitchen...“
“I looked for an ethnic restaurant for our Valentine's Day dinner, and we're so happy to have found Bhojan Griha. The food is prepared with excellent skill using all fresh ingredients. The curry and masala had the perfect flavor and spices, and the samosas were mouth watering. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere and company while you wait, because the food is prepared from scratch.Vegetarian options: Our vegetarian friends love this restaurant.“
“Not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews. A friend and I came here for lunch and we got the lunch special. All the dishes were on point and the naan came out hot and just the right amount of crispy. Would definitely come back.“
“Went with my family to dine in. I ordered the chicken korma, and it tasted incredible! I tried the chicken tikka masala too, which was delicious. The service provided by Navdeep was excellent despite the large volume of takeout orders. He was kind and helpful even though we sat at our table long after we finished eating. The restaurant is small and clean, but it has a good amount of tables for its size. I will absolutely dine here again.“
“We live in RB and we probably go here around every 10 days at most. :) Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful, the appetizers are amazing and we have never been disappointed. I do like Indian food, though I have probably only been to around 10-15 other Indian restaurants overall. Desi is by far the best one I have eaten at - it's not even close. My favorites are the Gobi Manchurian appetizer, the Samosas, and the onion pakora.Never had anything but good service - super friendly and we are so very lucky to have them in RB.“
“Undiscovered restaurant. Very good. Please visit this place to support the nice staff and cook.Better than most Indian and Nepalese and himalayan restaurants I've been to.Spice was at the level requested (spicy), but pretty sure could be made mild.We got the momos, the okra (which was a good cultivar and cooking of okra without the typical okra shards), the eggplant/potato dish (which had a nice hint of smokiness), and the goat curry.Mango lassi was good. Tea was good (high in caffeine, low in sugar).Reasonably priced when we went. Not crowded. Nice atmosphere/music.“
“So glad we went with Varun to cater our event. From the moment I spoke to him for the first time to the tasting experience to the event , it was a smooth ride.So many guests complimented the food and some are still raving about it.Varun was so reassuring when I was worried about the rains messing up his cooking in the outdoors .Will be going with him for our next event . You should too !!“
“Have tried this place a few times so far (both dine in and delivery -- a la carte only), and the food has been consistently good. Our favorites have been idli (has gotten better over time), vada, pongal and bhel puri. The dosas are decent too. Kids like their set dosa. The chutneys are very good too. I notice that with most South Indian restaurants, the quality of chutneys deteriorates over time, but so far they've maintained the quality. I really hope they keep up the quality of food.“
“This place is very neat and clean. Food taste awesom. They do have different offers going on everytime. They also offer you to taste/sample From Lunch special ,before selecting. Staff is very polite. I highly recommend this place for Indian food.“
“We love their lunch specials! It's daily from 11-3pm and you get a lot of food. I always have extras for dinner because I can't finish it all.The people who work there are really nice and friendly too. We get asked many times if everything is good and they come by to refill our water cups often.“
“Probably the best south Indian restaurant in San Diego. Good for breakfast, lunch or a snack at any time. I primarily go there for idli, dosa or Indian filter coffee... But the thali there is also pretty good especially at lunch.Ask to join their whatsapp group to get some discounts.“
“Zabihah halal. Clean. Friendly. Great Pakistani food.I love their Paya, Beef seekh Kabab, Reshmi checked botee, Mutton Karhai, Mango Lassi and Nihari. They Naan are also great. Prices are on the higher side but the portions are large, 3-4 people can eat from two dishes. We usually go there or order from them at least once a month.“
“Went for dinner last night, the food was very tasty and the service was very welcoming and efficient. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Black Daal and Butter Chicken with rice and Naan...all were delicious and we had leftovers to bring home. Highly recommend! Also, they have beer and wine available.“
“We ordered online for pickup from the Commerce location not quite understanding that it’s not a store front restaurant. While we did wait a while and it’s clear their business is primarily a meal delivery service, the owner/manager was extremely kind and most importantly the food was DELICIOUS! Authentic Indian cuisine with excellent quality and value. We ordered the non-veggie and veggie meals of the day, somosas and roti. If I lived closer, I’d absolutely order several meals a week.“
“Great food and spice. I love it. Great big portions that are good to share. Definitely recommend for Indian foodParking: A small parking lot for a number of businesses so you might have trouble getting a spot depending on when you go. I didn't have trouble parking when I went but I consider myself lucky“
“Thali are only available weekdays so I came back a second time to get one. It was excellent. The biryani my mom ordered was excellent too lots of spices. On a Tuesday night the place doesn't have many people eating inside but lots of to go orders.“
“The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was excellent, with Taha, the owner, ensuring everyone felt welcome. As for the food, it was outstanding. The tandoori chicken was tender, the naan bread freshly baked, and the biryani was packed with flavor. I highly recommend Tandoori Guys to anyone looking for delicious desi cuisine.“
“3.5 stars... rounds up to 4? I guess? It's a cute place in cute South Park. Great atmosphere, colorful and airy. Really young clientele when we went, which was just when they opened. The food was decent, but not astounding. The tomato creme based dishes were notably thin and watered down, and the rice could have been cooked a few minutes more. The Naan was great though, as were the appetizers (Samosas and some potato pancake sort of thing, I think?).Service was a bit scarce, but the pleasant demeanor of the server easily made up for it. Also, note to Management: please inform the wait staff that providing the customer with a bill to review BEFORE they pay isn't some extraneous old-timey "boomer" thing, but a standard transactional necessity for customers. People need to know exactly what their bill is comprised of before they pay (you don't just verbally tell them a total and ask for a credit card). That's the point of bringing the bill first. It's in everyones' best interest to make sure there aren't errors! Thanks, Curiosity. We enjoyed ourselves!“
“My brother and I were staying in Mission Beach and wanted to find an Indian restaurant close by that had good reviews. The food here is amazing! I talked it about it for days haha. We shared the Chicken Korma, Chicken Saag, Garlic Naan. The restaurant looks like more of a “fast food/take out” place and is in a shopping area. It’s not fancy, but a nice, casual place with friendly staff and great service. We also liked the “sauce” bar. I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and this tops my list, You won’t be disappointed!“
“Owner is very cooperative. He understands that we are looking for healthy, no oil, no cream yet flavorful food which is exactly what we get each time we order from here. We have tried most all dishes. Very good service. They also own Virsa. We are regulars.“
“Annapurna is one of my favorite ayce spots in Mira Mesa. Their store is located in the same plaza as target and the Vietnamese market. They have various time for their ayce buffet: Weekday Lunch Buffet: $12.99 (T, W, Th 11:30am-2:30pm) Vegetarian Tiffin Dinner Buffet: (Th 6-9pm) Weekend Lunch Buffet: $19.99 (Sat-Sun 12pm-3pm) This mom and pop shop serves delicious Indian cuisine with a variety of options for the buffet. My personal favorites are kheer, aloo gobi, goat curry, and chicken dum biryani. It is definitely worth checking out. Great quality for the price!“
“I really enjoyed the Chettinadu Pizza with Chicken. It has a delicious green sauce! Not spicy, just flavorful. And it’s full of fresh onions, bell peppers, chicken. Even half the 10 inch was filling. I like the crust too. It’s very saucy and not too sturdy, so you might want to plan to eat it there. I think it might get pretty soggy otherwise. They have a few tables and more outside. No bathroom, good to know. They have more pizzas I want to try; but I didn’t realize that they have lots of other things like Gobi Manchurian, Korean Bowls…The Chettinadu pizza had such good flavors that I am excited to try more of their cooking.“
“Great place, great food, great service but very expensive for vegatarian Indian food. 3 dishes with 3 different Nan, $135 with tip. We didn't order any expensive meat dishes. Not sure I will go again but I have to admit, it was good. Most restaurants whimp out when you request spicy but they delivered.“
“I would give them 10 stars. ?We arrived at the place 30 minutes before closing and even so the staff's attention was super friendly. I was amazed by the good disposition at all times and of course by the excellent quality of the food. The unique flavor. Definitely, as soon as possible, I will go to eat their delicacies. I congratulate you for having excellence in everything.“
