This review is from 2018..I am just beginning my thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail and this was the ultimate best send off! Excellent food and atmosphere...and then there was Jair! I was a single person..dining in boots with a backpack...not big bucks. I received the utmost respect and prime service from Jain. Truly this man is an asset to this establishment!

[hungout on an early Saturday-St. Patrick’s Day afternoon] A lot of indoor & outdoor space! The service here amazing!! We played a lot of shuffleboard, darts, & cornhole!!! The beer choices here were also varied & good tasting. We didnt get to try the food here though but greatly appreciated everything else!

This is a great place to meet up with friends for a beer and some good bar food. There is a semi-private area in the back for large groups too. The staff is attentive, but also leaves you alone when you are just having a good time chatting with friends. The Bavarian pretzel was a favorite among our group. There are also many other food options available for starters, sandwiches, and entrees.

the Atmosphere is a little lackluster and the interior lack a little bit of soul and fulfillment, not much work needed but it felt a little bare. All of the staff was very friendly and very diligent. A handsome server guides you to your table if you are lucky and everything looked clean at least.As for the food, nothing to call him about. It is far from bad but also nothing amazing, it more or less will do and does so, tasty enough to eat but not worth the exact price.The Knotty barrel needs a little bit of work on almost everything. however the staff is very friendly and if you have people from out of town looking to try some safe to eat food from friendly service then this is the place for you.
This place is amazing! But even more than the food and vibe, the people are amazing! Andrew the manager went out of his way to make our last minute meetup happen and Casey (or KC - sorry if I got it wrong!) was the best server I’ve ever had. He not only handled the meetup that ended up with way more people than expected, he was so fun and nice and him and Andrew were just great people! 10/10 recommend for meetups/networking/events!

I love the courtyard here- it's super peaceful, quiet, and just right when I need to get out of the house for the richest grilled cheese around. Staff was friendly, and the sun was shining.

The best smoked brisket in San Diego hands down. Also I don’t remember his name but the bartender on Friday is super friendly and accommodating. Not that it’s a competition Elizabeth/Monica inside joke is super awesome. The owner who makes the bbq is truly a master and his really cool wife told me she would give him two hugs upon my request as a reward for his bbq skills. Give it a go
