I’ve been coming here for years and generally everyone’s customer service is on par, food is typically pretty good depending on what you get. But I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this but there has been several times that I have been there and Matt has been extremely rude and very uninviting. There was a time where I came to do some work and grab a coffee an hour and a half before the Adams location closed. As I was standing there ready to order with my backpack on I was told by Matt that I should go to the park location since they are open 24hrs. I remember thinking that was very odd but I just left to the other location cause it seemed like he didn’t want to serve me. I’ve ordered food with other staff there knowing that there were other food orders in front of me. When you order from Matt, even if there is one food order ahead and you’re trying to order a sandwich, he will remind you that there’s another food order in front of yours and it won’t be ready for 45 mins ?. The last straw I had with him was when I was there mid morning on a Saturday, the employee (wish I remembered his name) is always super friendly was working when I came in. I bought a couple coffees from him and my girlfriend and I started studying. Not even an hour later Matt comes in for his shift, and by that time I had finished my coffee and had a water cup. There’s a couple people next to us without any coffee cups as well, but Matt decides to approach me and instead of politely asking if I had already bought something, he tells me that I can buy a coffee at the counter and points to it. I was caught off guard and confused, I’ve been in the customer service industry for 15 years, Matt needs to work on his customer service. I’m not sure if him and his brother own it (because if you look at the few owner reply’s on these reviews you can see how unprofessional their response is) but there’s no reason to treat any customers like that.

This place used to be cool , prior to it being purchased. They closed down half of the building and started charging more. WiFi used to be free. Now, it requires a purchase. I used to come in to study and half the time purchase something. Now, I'm going elsewhere.

Great place for an open mic Monday. If you're interested in performing, get there early (5:30pm) to make sure you get a spot (10-15 min) on stage since it closes up early (9:30-10pm). I've only been once but open mic draws a good set of performers - even the novice. It's a great setting with an outside stage and plenty of seating.

Parking is horrible. Of course what would one expect from University Heights. Have to walk everywhere which is nice but only if you live in the neighborhood. Walked into cafe- feels a little outdated --like early 70s vibe. Cafe and furniture could use some love- cleaning or replacing. I love old furniture but if you don't give it love it looks trashy. Coffee and service was ok. When taking customers order, one should cease all back counter conversations until order is complete. I find it rude and unprofessional.

Lestats is very relaxing and warm. It's clean and they have great baristas. It's worth it. The drinks are great too.

Cute coffee shop in normal heights. If you're coming from the hotspot flea market, it's very close by. There's indoor and outdoor seating and they close pretty late for those looking for a new study area. Indoor seating looked cozy and they have a huge menu! Wasn't able to try any of the food but the person on register was able to answer my questions and help order my drink! The coffee is solid, just wished that there was a bit more banana flavoring in my drink! Would still come back again to try more!

They didn’t have the smoothie I wanted but the guy behind the counter suggested something similar and it was delicious. Great place to get work done.
