Really enjoyed the speakeasy inside the distillery. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Rum drinks were good and strong. Hope to try the gin next time

My review is for The Commodore Club which is a wonderfully unique little cocktail bar hidden away in the Old Harbor Distillery warehouse. You can find your way to reservations online or just look for the red door and hope they have room for you. A truly nautical adventure I highly recommend for elevated cocktail enthusiasts. Sadly the homeless make the surrounding area a bit dangerous and disgusting, but if you’re getting a ride to and from the door it’s worth it. Cheers!

My boyfriend and I came here for an early Valentines Day night out. The drinks were excellent and the decor/ambience was so perfectly done. The bartenders there that night were very friendly and helpful.

Prop shop was perfect. Thank you Bobbi

Wish I could leave an honest review. Location is in the heart of SD's "Tent City" (out densest homeless encampment). My girlfriend was too concerned to leave the car parked there that we decided to just skip our reservation.

Commodores club is a must for any cocktail lover. Probably the truest speakeasy feel of any bar I've been to. That is partly due to the unexpected location. It is deep in East village and there are quite a few people experiencing homelessness on the streets outside. You will get a text stating that parking can be tough and they recommend getting a Uber/Lyft to drop you off right at the door. We had dinner nearby so we opted to drive and park. We were about a block away and it wasn't the best walk but no one bothered us and the doorman got us in right away and then checked our reservation. Look for the big red metal door! Once you're inside you are truly transported to a nautical themed speakeasy which is serving their own gins, rums, and vodkas. It was incredible! My friend got the gin flight which isn't on the menu and it was great to experience the different botanicals and then try them in cocktails. Loved the experience!

Very cool spot. We went to the commodores club and it was a very pleasant experience. The cocktails were very good. The ambiance was awesome. It's not located it the best part of town so keep that in mind. I appreciated the business sending a text day of letting us know parking was limited and ride share recommended. Definitely a hidden gemIn SD.

My girlfriend & I came here to their speakeasy, The Commodores. Thank you again to the worker who kept in contact with me to ensure that we got seated & arrived safely! & thank you to the bartenders who whipped us up some amazing, strong cocktails! We enjoyed all the gin drinks! Intimate lounge with a couple of tables, bar seating, & a couple of barrel tops. Cool sailor theme. Do be aware, the entrance is in the homeless population & there was a man posted on the door. Thankfully, the worker was able to get us through.

I'm sure the drinks are good but do not attempt to come here at night as this is currently a homeless encampment and there is no tasting available.

San Miguel Gin is my go to gin for a Last Word cocktail. The Southwestern botanical bill pairs amazingly with lime and chartreuse. I order it off their website regularly. I need to try their other spirits too.

Best coffee liqueur in the game! Ampersand is made with some locally roasted coffee and I love it! Drinking some now.

Dont bother coming. It is in the homeless district of San Diego. Was told hours on a Saturday was 11pm.Perhaps they have a different tasting room locale, but dont go to the Google address.
