Review is based on the owners ability to listen and deescalate a situation which led to a friendly resolution.

I must've tried half the menu by now, between dining in and UberEats. There's not a single thing I've tried that I wouldn't order again, but the appetizer polenta salsicciq (sausage ragu) is the dish that always keeps calling my name when I return. The owner even recognized me after only my second time dining in, with over a month between visits. This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant at this price point, and it outperforms many restaurants at higher price points. Also, I almost never order dessert but I will ALWAYS order the affogato al caffe if I am dining in. Try it if you haven't already!-EDIT-Oh by the way, the Tuesday date night is such a deal!! I went there for the first time for that menu and it's what got me hooked.
This lasagna was out of this world!!! Creamy and delicious and flavorful and Oh My Goodness!!! I ordered it last week and had to have it again and it was even better this week. Do yourself a favor and order this lasagna!!

Food was delicious and service was excellent. I had their squid ink pasta, which was their special of the day, and octopus salad. Everyone was super friendly, personable, and attentive. Make reservations because they do get busy during dinner service.
During a spontaneous visit to San Diego we were looking for any good restaurants when we stumbled upon Parma Cucina Italiana due to its good reviews online. And I can say that the team didn't disappoint. We had different pasta of which all were delicious. Also the service was on point so that we really enjoyed our visit and would definitley come back next time we are around.

Great service. Treated like family as soon as you come in. Food was good and there was an expansive wine by the glass list. The caponata was rather plain though. My big complaint was that they allowed dogs at 2 different tables, inside the restaurant. By law they should have been out on the patio.

This is my third visit to Parma Cucina Italiana, and I can confidently say that I'll be back again and again. The food is incredibly delicious. Roberta, the Italian waitress, is the best ever, and even the owner came to say Hi! ? Definitely a place you'll want to revisit. ????

This place offers incredible authentic Italian pasta! If you're craving delicious handmade pasta that melts in your mouth, this is the spot to visit. I opted for the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and it turned out to be some of the best pasta I've ever had! My husband went for the cheese gnocchi dish, and it was wonderfully creamy.Despite its small size, the restaurant exudes a very personable vibe. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is quick. We also indulged in their dessert, the Tartufo, featuring chocolate hazelnut gelato with cocoa powder and chocolate sauce drizzled on top. Needless to say, we were scraping the bowl for every last bite! This is a definite must-visit for Italian food enthusiasts while in San Diego. Although it's not in the Little Italy district, I believe it surpasses the restaurants we saw there!
