My friend and I tried this place randomly! It's a little hole in the wall restaurant in Clairemont. There is limited parking in the lot, but street parking is available. The restaurant itself is small and gets pretty crowded. I recommend calling to make a reservation when they open. All the servers are all so welcoming and sweet!Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area.Miso soup: (5/5) Very good flavor and has some tofu in it.Garlic edamame (without chili): (5/5) This has a sweeter flavor without the chili. They were cooked very well. They are very good!Super salmon roll: (5/5) Nice and refreshing roll. The salmon was super fresh. It was interesting as there was cucumber and avocado in the roll too!Sun kiss roll: (5/5) 0mg. The first bite I took I blacked out, I was in heaven. This combination of fish mixed with the sauce was perfect. I honestly could've eaten 2 of these rolls alone.Salmon nigiri: (5/5) If | could give more than 5 stars for the nigiri I would!!! The portions of fish are generous and taste so fresh! We ended up ordering 3 of these.Seriously so good!

We stumbled upon this spot in search of a light dinner. My husband and I each ordered a roll (Mango Mango and shrimp tempura) with an order of gyoza to share. All of our food was amazing! We arrived within an hour of closing so it was not crowded, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely plan to come back here during our stay in SD.

So good! So fresh....just really good! We got there right when they opened and there was a small line formed. It's a very small place, the 2 tables that sat more than a party of 2 already had reserved placards on them. We had to wait 5 min and were asked if we wanted to sit at bar or outside. I couldn't pinpoint why I wasn't completely satisfied but later figured out why. I asked my daughter(who loved it as much as I did) if the rolls were small because I never ate that much sushi. Besides that, we both had a slice of pizza when we got home. She said yes they were and that she noticed it. I visually didn't notice, but my tummy did. I would go back and not even care that they're a bit on the smaller side. They were delicious!

Highly recommend. Great casual sushi restaurant. The spicy tuna crispy rice roll was incredible. We also enjoyed the tuna nigiri, seared salmon nigiri, edamame, and the avocado and cucumber roll.

Sushi chef was super nice, server lady can kick rocks. We must have missed the sign to press the button because we just walked right in and the server lady was rude. There were literally only two people inside so it was awkward. Also we didn't know who to put the order in with while sitting at the bar since she didn't say anything and seemed mad at us. Place was empty but eventually filled up a bit so can't say she was even overwhelmed. Meh I've had better sushi tbh. And we even tipped well but def won't be back.

My boyfriend and I LOVE Sushi Fish Attack! It's a little hole-in-the-wall gem in Clairemont that has (arguably) the best sushi in San Diego - especially when compared to other places that are impossible to get a reservation or gouge on prices. Their specialty rolls are amazing: spicy Crispy Rice, seared tuna, double kick, and hot kiss are some of our favorites. The staff are friendly and I love the cozy ambiance inside. We enjoyed our last meal of 2023 here are couldn't have been happier.

We get takeout from here regularly and the takeout service is always very efficient. We have gone inside to eat a handful of times and it's a quaint neighborhood vibe. We have not had a bad dish. Fish Attack Roll is our fave!

I cannot believe I havent reviewed this place yet. Its been our favorite local sushi restaurant in Clairemont for a while now and we are definitely regulars! We always make a reservation (typically calling same day after then open at 4:30) and its usually a good idea. They fill up quick all throughout the week, but you can usually sit at the sushi bar if its last minute. There are two rolls that we ALWAYS get and I highly recommend: Orange Crush and Seared Tuna. Every time we get those, and then a 3rd of something new to try and nothing has stood out enough to continue along with those two. I would say that Orange Crush is one of their most popular items. Its all about this thin slice of lemon on top - totally makes it! I dont usually get salmon-based sushi but this one is just phenomenal. The accent of lemon just makes it so refreshing. And then the Search Tuna is a lovely compliment to it being really savory and delicious. They are both so good! It's been a while but I also highly recommend the Fish Attack Stack. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. I love that they always wave you goodbye and say "See you tomorrow!" It's charming and always gives me a laugh. Love this place!

So good, the vibe was classic sushi bar. The service was attentive. Garlic edemame was great. Then the spicy crispy rice, seared tuna roll, holiday roll, and the ex boyfriend. Their crispy rice was perfectly caramelized. My favorite roll was the holiday with the lightly seared salmon. I will definitely be back.

Love this place. I have been back several times since first trying it. The rolls are all so good, and the staff is very friendly. Some of my favorites include the Sunkiss, Cherry Blossom and Hot Kiss.
