I've only really had the Pa Te So, cause I'm a savory girl. But the flavors remind me of my childhood. I'm filipina, but growing up in SD, we had a lot of different asian options. But the Pa Te So's are delicious, like filipino empanadas! The out only other thing I've had there were the red bean buns. And those were as I expected, not amazing, but for the price it is a good value. The shop itself is small, order at the counter. No seating. Fast service, the pastries have the perfect amount of sweetness . The pate chauds are also big with a lot of filling compared to the competitors in San Diego. They also make smaller ones in case you want those catered.

The curry pastry, Vietnamese meat pie, and bbq pork bun are all super tasty!! Delicious fillings with the perfect ratio to bun/pastry. I'll definitely be back to try other items, especially the ones on the sweeter side! Note: 3% charge on credit card charges
