We came on a very empty stomach, excited to try Japanese food in San Diego. Parking was the usual busy in the plaza on a Sunday but since it was only 11 am, we quickly found spots. There wasn't a wait at all and we sat outside. Service was fine and while this spot feels more hole in the wall with its setup and ambiance, the food was yummy! Always so grateful for this spot, definitely my top pick in San Diego so far from the time I've lived here. I've introduced people to this spot on three seperate occasions and had to remind them to gatekeep since I hate waiting LOL and I really like the atmosphere of the place. Great restaurant in Convoy. Yummy food. I really like their duck soba and chicken curry. The sashimi is fresh! Recommend this place! It's super good! Parking: Still packed and small parking spaces, but so much easier to find parking in this lot than any other place in convoy.
