What can I say, the service was great the waiter was so attentive, and the drinks and the food was amazing. If you’re looking for good seafood this is the perfect place to be. The environment is very very cozy!

Ordered by Door dash with excellent results. Two seafood dishes, both arrived hot and cooked perfectly. Bread was super crusty sourdough, soft inside... So good. Highly recommended.

Eating at Betty Lou's was an amazing experience. I opted for the Red Snapper which was cooked to perfection. There was sauteed spinach and incredibly good scalloped potatoes that came with the meal. The portions were huge. The service was excellent. I will definitely return for another fabulous meal at Betty Lou's the next time I visit San Francisco.

Very very very good delicious food the service was excellent I do recommend this restaurant. but you must catch a Uber or a Lyft or cab due to limited parking. They do have parking with meters which is going to be expensive so the choice is yours.

We were having trouble getting a reservation anywhere for 7 but they accepted is right away. So, Saturday, the day before Father's Day, my family had a wonderful meal. Decently priced Italian deliciousness. Parking was a bit of a search as usual. We got there about 15 minutes before our reservation and only had to wait a couple of minutes while they cleared of the newly abandoned table and set up for us. When the table next to us vacated they cleared their table, moved it over, and gave us a chair to go at the head of our table.We got bread, calamari, crab cocktail, shrimp cocktail and chowder for appetizers. Besides the chowder the apps were pretty basic. Calamari needed the lemon and sauces it came with but was at least crispy. The cocktail apps were plain crab meat and bay shrimp with cocktail sauce but sauce was good abs seafood fresh. The chowder was delicious!! Bread was standard table bread with butter packets.The entrees were typical and not a huge selection. Basically you pick from a few pastas, sauces, and proteins. Also, there was the same set up in grilled our sauteed variations. Everyone enjoyed their food except one of my sisters who ordered the "garlic and olive oil" sauce for her pasta which had no flavor.The wines were pretty good and there is no dessert so we went across the street.Sorry I forgot to take pics because we were having too much fun.

Went to Betty Lou's with my wife Saturday night. Amazing seafood. We both had the Prawns and Scallop sauté combo. A huge plate of extremely large Prawns and scallops that were fresh and delicious. Came in a Scampi type sauce rich and delicious. Fresh Carrots and String beans, and an Au gratin potato square that was layered with parmesan cheese melted in between the layers and baked brown on top. So good its hard to put into words. The service was impeccable and Betty is right up front taking care of her customers . Try this Restaurant. You will not be disappointed Dave C.

Yelp comes through again. Saw the great reviews and decided we had to try this spot on our first night in SF. We are staying at the Zephyr across the Street from the Wharf and Pier 39, so we do have access to tons of tourist seafood restaurants (some of which are very good) that I have been eating at since I was a kid visiting with my parents. However, the reviews were so strong we decided to venture away from the tourist locations, and into restaurant row. Everything we had was tremendous. We had the crab cake appetizers, Combo Scallop and Prawn Saute, and a Fish Special (Halibut). All of the food was amazing. Crab cakes were delightful but a little small. The entrées were too die for. Our waiter Cornelius was an absolute star, and even made sure to show us the various plates on his way to serve the other tables their dishes. We will be back before the end of our trip to taste more dishes.

One of my favorite restaurants when visitng SF! Our go-to orders is Mikes Wok Crab and the linguini with seafood and tomato cream sauce. Both are more than enough for two people and just full of flavor! The wok crab is sautéed in a gingery garlic sauce and compliments the seafood linguini perfectly. Everything tastes super fresh and even the bread and house wine were delicious! The servers are super friendly and attentive. We sat outdoors (during covid) and heaters were also provided.
