Got the lunch special - Pear salad+fried chicken entree with the shrimp grits and jambalaya as sides + dessert. Was so satisfying for $28 Soup/salad + entree with sides (if that is part of the original menu option) + a beignetThe lunch special allows you to sort of sample the whole menu at manageable portion sizes and left us feeling quite full. Lovely neighborhood spot with delightful Louisiana cuisine in the Stanyan / Cole Valley area!I'm vegetarian and Creole cuisine is always tricky because seemingly vegetarian dishes (e.g. rice & beans) often contain chicken stock or ham.
