When I'm lucky enough to be at the Ferry Building at the same time they are, I overdo it and get too many so I can try new ones every time. Always worth it. I think the simple ones might be the best except the days when the elaborate ones are. Can't go wrong.

Their donuts are great.... if they open at all. Their website says it opens at 8:30am on Sundays. Turns out they open at 9:00am. Oh well... Stuck around until 9:15am. No one showed up. Called the Oakland location and asked if they were opening at the Ferry Building and was told yes, "probably just stuck on Muni." We waited until 9:30am before we left. We circled back at about 10:50am and they still hadn't opened. Very disappointing as someone who was just in town for the day.

I am a little bit of a donut connoisseur. Everywhere I travel I try to find the best donut shops and give them a try. In fact I'm thinking about doing a donut across the United States tour. Ya know like people do at baseball parks. Anyway, with that being said, they get one star because the donuts are very pretty but that's all they have to offer. It is $3.5 for 1 donut. They are dense. They are bland and have NO flavor. This is the second time I tried them and results were the same. So if you're looking for a good donut, keep walking.

The donuts are super good. All of them are vegan/organic. There were $3 and $3.50 donut options. I've never had such a good variety to choose from. Was hard to only pick 2.

Donut Farm, formerly Pebbles Donut Farm, was established in 2006 by Josh Levine, a San Francisco native who is a lifelong music enthusiast and activist. What started as a wholesale business turned to a vegan donut staple. This establishment is now found in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Donut Farm is dedicated to veganism: 1) that a vegan diet is the most sustainable diet for human health and compassionate living and 2) that animals do not need to be hassled in any way for humans to exist. Donuts at Donut Farm are baked fresh every day.The Ferry Building's best kept secret has to be Donut Farm. The shop will be found tucked in a small corner and might be easily missed. It is a small space with a lot of donut options. The person who took me at the register was friendly and welcoming. This dessert spot is perfect for a grab and go.I was overly eager to try these vegan donuts. Luckily, one of the locations is right next to my office. I bought half a dozen donuts in different flavors. My favorite one was the orange creamsicle. My non-vegan friends and co-workers enjoyed their first vegan donuts. I see myself coming back for more sweet surprises.

The gentleman that helped us was super nice and friendly. He recommended the which ones were the most popular ones. Unfortunately, they were sold out of most of them for the day.The donuts are a bit cakey and denser but the flavors were good. We got the cinnamon sugar and chocolate cookie. Both were good but I felt the chocolate cookie one was a tad dry. Otherwise, good vegan donuts.

If I could give it zero stars I would. My family and I walked in and there was a very rude worker at the counter , my sister told my other sister to tell her what she wanted, and the worker rudely interrupted her and told her with an attitude that her pronouns were they them practically yelling. Sadly my sister and I drove all the way from concord to try this place and she was so excited but she rushed us on picking donuts and the worker was extremely rude we definitely were disappointed

I loved these donuts. The bloke running the stand was a legend as well. Highly reccomend ducking into the Ferry Building to pick some up.

I went there on a Saturday and surprisingly they had lots of option. I bought a dozen and to be honest they were good but they just didn’t have any flavor other than being sweet. The price was okay but I wouldn’t go again. The lady was really nice tho!

Happy New Year, everyone! Let's strive towards a wonderful 2023.I LOVE that there is an incredibly affordable donut shop inside the Ferry Building in the heart of Downtown SF. Donut Farm was my go-to spot when I was trying to find a vegan friendly bakery to bring some sweets to for a New Year's Eve party I was attending. They have an awesome selection of donuts being sold at $3 with some of their more exciting flavors at $3.50. I packed a half-dozen box with:* Orange Creamsicle* Mexican Hot Chocolate* Matcha Green Tea* Cinnamon Sugar* Lavender Earl Grey* Philz Coffee (but which one? I'm not sure lol) #dontdrinkcoffeeThe donuts were wonderfully baked. While on the cakier side, they were not dry and held up quite well at my event. The unique flavors come from the glaze and I was impressed with all the different options we tried today.Whether they are 'vegan' or not, I promise you "can't tell," and it shouldn't matter if it's vegan. It's still a delicious donut so why not give it a try?

Loved the coconut donut and the salted caramel. Reasonably priced. They run out very fast so go early.

Bought a dozen donuts for a work event and people really seemed to like them! You can select from a good variety of vegan options.

Online says they open at 8:30am. At the location is says 9:00am. There is no one to be found at 9:00am or after. I come later in the day, sign saying they’ll be back in 15 minutes. Very unreliable. I’ll never try to come back again when there are other vegan donut shops around.

I'd give 5 stars just for the fact that these vegan donuts exist and that the humans who run it care about the animals and the environment, unlike most eateries. Bravo! But I can't, in good conscience, give more than 3 stars for the donuts themselves. Just not good. We ordered a half dozen variety and every single donut tastes the same. Matcha tastes like blueberry, blueberry tastes like salted caramel, etc. They are also quite dry. And the jelly filled yeast donut tasted day-old. For $3-$3.50 a pop, these should be better.
