We came here for lunch and had an excellent meal! We’ve been coming here for over a decade, and the quality and consistency has stood the test of time. We ordered the warm sake, shrimp tempura roll, spider roll, 49er roll, double hamachi roll, rainbow roll, salmon sashimi, salmon special, chirashi, mochi ice cream, and green tea ice cream. Everything was delicious, and we will definitely continue coming back when we’re back in San Francisco!
Absolute trash, service was terrible and the sushi was old and trash. I mean literally i could have made Myself better sushi...

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SIT AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SUSHI BAR..... they sit their new chefs there who massacre ur sushi..... we ordered the June roll.... took the bad left over pieces of tuna and plastered them along the top of the roll like plaster on a wall instead of slicing nice WHOLE pieces of tuna on my $22 roll..... i watched the trainer sushi chef tell the new chef to not use the nice new tuna and use the left over tuna pieces to plaster the top of the roll.... u couldnt pay me to come back....

Amazing sushi! All the fish was so fresh and prepared perfectly. We had a Dragon roll, Rainbow roll, and the deluxe combination of chef's choice nigiri, as well as the lemon garlic edamame and miso soup. Everything was delightful; even smaller details like the pickled ginger and miso soup were so fragrant and delicate. The edamame was slightly blistered and lightly tossed in lemon juice and garlic for a perfect bite. The sake flight was a lovely pairing with the fish and it was the perfect meal.

I ordered a $15 dollar tempura shrimp roll and it came with four pieces. FOUR PIECES. LOL. I actually went back in to check if it was a mistake but nope. That’s nuts. The roll was fine, nothing special.

This restaurant has the same name as a Dallas-based restaurant. I accidentally purchased one of their gift cards online for my son to take his gf to their anniversary dinner, thinking it was the Dallas location. Once I realized my mistake, I called the restaurant multiple times to request a credit since we can never use a SF gift card. They said the manager would return my call, but the manager never did. I know this was my mistaken purchase but I would think a business owner with ethics would address and refund this knowing it could never be used. Shame on you!
Hidden Sushi Gem. Clean, delicious and super cute inside. Came for a business lunch. Will be back with friends.

It's a truly Japanese place with delicious and fresh food. I prefer a healthy lifestyle, and this restaurant offers exactly that. I sat at the bar and talked with the chefs about the food, observing their excellent work full of love. The Asari Miso Soup, Salmon Teriyaki and Saba Shioyaki were as tasty as traditional Japanese green tea. The staff were also very polite and kind ?

For me it is the best sushi I have had in the city, I'm sure there are better, but Ebisu is very good. The prices seem very reasonable for the area, and the options are very good. I have never had bad service here and everyone is friendly even when they are busy. The atmosphere is very well matched to the food and it doesn't feel like your average sushi shop.
fish was amazing , rolls were flavorful , miso soup was great and not watered down . besides the subpar service from the servers , overall experience was great and i would recommend . sushi was amazing here !!
This was the best sushi I've ever had, and the service was exceptional! I'm normally picky about too much raw fish, but it was all so fresh and went down easily. The servers frequently checked in on us, and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place!
Lovely place . My favorite restaurant ❤️
