VERY BAD FOOD!! I ordered birria tacos and they gave it to me without broth, the meat has no flavor and the tortilla was soggy. Very bad I do not recommend it and very expensive

This place is fantastic! Food was ready super fast and absolutely delicious. Best sopes ever! Jesse is so kind and helpful and he told us his family story of the restaurant. What an incredible legacy. LA history and incredible Mexican food. Yum!

Decently affordable pricing but was a little disappointed by the vegetarian nachos - very little cheese or beans. Totally fine to grab a quick bite if it's convenient, but not sure if I'd come back otherwise.

Hands down the best “RIBEYE BARRIA” I have ever had. The beef is like a pot roast your grandmother cooked & the flavors are simple/authentic. Everything is fresh! The verde salsa has perfect flavor and not too spicy! It’s traditionally prepared and presented to a T! I never write more than a couple words on a review -THIS IS A MUST if you haven’t been and I highly recommend El Rancho Grande.Support this gem on Irving Street SF! While California is blessed to have a wide range of foods this is a KEEPER?
Honestly kinda mid. I ordered this on the way home from the bars from grubhub, and it was very un satisfying. I got the steak taco which was already overpriced for what it was and the steak was overcooked. The rice was also very dry. But, it was nice that it was still open at 11:30pm when most places are closed.

The food was good, but the cockroaches and broken toilet weren't.I really enjoyed my chimichanga, and my date enjoyed her meal. The servings are more than enough, and I'd want to give this place a great rating, but when I'm almost making out with cockroaches when I should be making out with my date, that ruins everything for me!I thank God that we had our fill before we noticed them because after the first one was inches from my face, another roach decided to crawl up the table and make it a double date. This place needs a toilet that can actually flush and a fumigation before they serve anyone ever again!
