This business is involved in a food label scam by pretending their food is low in calories. Such misinformation may negatively affect weight management goals, diabetes risk and athletic performance.I tried to rich them on multiple occasions on this matter w/o any response from the company. Certainly, it's a subject for FDA. Beware this scam.Organic Elbow Macaroni label photo is attached with the explanation. The calories information is plainly wrong. 55g of past contains more than 200kcals instead of just 140.1g (fat) * 9 + 7g (protein) *4 + 41g (carbs) *4 = 201.

Very delicious sandwiches, particularly the Eggplant Parm, and extensive selection of wines in the fridge. Don't forget to try a side order of burrata! Connected to Penny Roma so plenty of tables, including outside on the sidewalk patio.

Fabulous space for a casual weekend lunch with family. The plenty of seating in different rooms inside and out. Delicious sandwiches and salads to boot. Eggplant parm sandwich was my favorite. Filled with herbs and tasty sauce. Porchetta sandwich also good with a kick and pepperonci on sesame bread. Sightglass coffee next door. Trick dog bar, true Laurel bar around the corner. Great neighborhood.

I've been a Flour + Water fan since their pizzas first came on the scene! They expanded their restaurant to included this spacious, airy (dare I say, greenhouse-like building) where you can order uncooked pastas to-go and/or sammiches. We ordered: -- Philly roast pork ($22.50): his second favorite porchetta sandwich in the Bay. Generously packed with juicy meat & crispy cracklin' skin. -- Cali club ($22.50): turkey, bacon, pepper jack, smashed avocado on a toasted sesame seed hoagie roll. Just plain good. -- chocolate chip cookie ($5): wouldn't get again, chewy/hard not in a good way. -- tomato pie ($10): Philly-style focaccia with tangy tomato sauce. Carbolicious! Ample seating; not a feature easily found in SF eateries. $20+ sandwiches; too often the norm in SF sandwich shops.

Ordered the cali club sandwich to be delivered and it was the best sandwich I’ve had since moving to San Francisco. Perfection

The pasta shop is under renovation so we couldn't go in. However we did get sandwiches. The fried chicken was great and the rolls were outstanding!

We came here for lunch and it was pretty quiet. It's all self service and you order your food at the counter. I "accidentally" ordered two porchetta sandwiches, as well as the fried chicken sandwich and West coast salad. The fried chicken sandwich was a bit dry. It tasted like it had been reheated but it was more than made up by the decadence of the West Coast salad and porchetta sandwich. I'm so glad we got two! It was meaty, tasty, and moist with crunchy cracklings and then lovingly surrounded by a soft but crunchy sesame loaf. Returning again to the salad, it was just pure summer decadence - full of squash, corn, radish and fresh buttery lettuce. They were a bit heavy on the dressing so I'll prob ask for it on the side next time. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Very cute little shop where you can buy uncooked pasta to go, and grab pre-made salads and cheese boards, and tons of wine bottles on sale as well We came here for lunch expecting pasta, but they mainly have sandwiches and salads on their menu. We had the meatball sub which was pretty good- juicy meatballs, nice messy marinara and melted cheese. Bread wasn't amazing in my opinion, and even a bit burnt. Order at the counter and either take to go, inside, or outdoor along the border of the shop. The greenhouse-like restaurant is beautiful to eat in. I loved the water fountain, the hanging ornaments. Beautiful space that turns into Penny Roma at night. I haven't been to this area much, but its clean, pleasant to walk around with a scattering of random shops as well as Tartine and Sightglass within walking distance.

Pretty nice place for a nice lunch. They didn't have any pasta, but pasta you can take home and cook. I had the eggplant parmasan and Salumi Sandwiches. Both were good and tasted fresh. I had barata cheese and crackers while I waited. Outside seating ONLY but atrium like. Staff was also very friendly.

The Cali Club is honestly one of my favorite sandwiches in the city. It's loaded with turkey, bacon, and avocado, and it's huge sandwich. Could split with someone for lunch if you're not a big eater, but personally, I'm not willing to share since it's so good. I do agree with the other reviews that it's pricier than you might expect for a sandwich but given the size and quality of the ingredients, it seems fair. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Also bottles of wine are half price if you take them to-go.
