I got the cheese enchiladas with red sauce from Gallardos. The food was quite good, though I think I missed out being vegetarian. The flavors were good, but since most of the items on the menu contain meat of some sort, it is hard to recommend this place if you are only going for the vegetarian options. Still, the quality of the ingredients was high, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was good (could tell it was an authentic place based on the clientele)....read full review
A must stop, Sunday morning before heading back to Bakersfield. First off the chip salsa was so good, fresh and spicy, a chef's kiss. The menudo was one of the best I have tried. The staff/owner are kind. The musical trio was nice.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I hardly ever write reviews but this place deserves it. From the food to the ambiance to the servers who always welcome you with a friendly smile. A hidden gem truly. Coming here for breakfast is my favorite thing. Don't hesitate!!!! COME.
