Loved their Al pastor cauliflower tacos! They're delicious! Haven't seen this vegetarian option on menus. We also got the mushroom cheese dish to share. They give about 6 fresh tortillas with it. Great for sharing between 2-4 ppl. Great service. The decor and the vibe of the place totally goes with the menu. Came here for a friend's birthday. We were group of 10 ppl or so!

This place is nicer than a one star place, but I'll tell you why I gave it one star. They asked me what I wanted to drink and started making suggestions about a cocktail, and ended up offering me a margarita. I drink whiskey and scotch so I was like yeah, ok, it's a nice, hot day- that will be okay this time even though I could drink something pretty much whatever. But I took the drink happily and when she asked me if I wanted another one, I said "I can't afford it" as a joke, because it was really good, but it was a whopping $16. Obviously anybody would understand that. But no, the bartender took it personally and decided to tell me why the drink cost so much. So yeah it wasn't really a smart or kind enough place for me. Thank you bye.

Wonderful Mexican tapas place with great bar and margaritas. Nice range of vegan and gluten free on the menu. Servers are very attentive and place was busy in a Thursday evening. Servings are generous even on starters - highly recommend!

I visited Lolo with a reservation and was seated right away. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the cauliflower al pastor tacos, mushroom queso fundido and fried avocado tacos. The fried avocado tacos were delicious, with crispy avocado, caramelized onions and peppers, and habanero aioli. The other items were decent, but not very memorable. The cauliflower al pastor tacos had a nice pineapple and peanut topping, but the cauliflower itself was bland. The mushroom queso fundido was creamy and cheesy, but lacked some spice. Overall, it was a good experience, but slightly underwhelming. I expected more from a restaurant that claims to offer uniquely inspired Mexican food. Portion sizes were kinda small for the price though. No complaints about the ambience, the vibe is nice for a date night or a small group. Tip: Mission Bartlett parking garage is a short walk from here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city, and anywhere for that matter. The food & drinks are amazing, the vibe is super good (great music and decor), and the staff is fun. My wife and I always feel like we should try someplace else, but we end up at Lolo's and never regret it. The only thing that would make it better is some sort of chocolate lava cake for dessert. But that is just a personal preference :)
