Been here twice now- classic walk-up deli counter set-up where you pick up a number and once called you are ready to order. There is so much choice it's a difficult decision to make- first time round got the caprese- so fresh and simple but so so tasty sitting at fort mason in the sunshine devouring the soft bread with delicious ingredients, one of the lighter side sandwiches with not too much meat. I have so many wonderful memories of this exquisite authentic Italian delicatessen, particularly their Ceci Bean salad. Soooooo delicious. But the shrimp salad is good too ... and the calimari salad. Yummmm. You simply can't go wrong here. So delicious!!!!
We ordered the Caprese with prosciutto and the Americano. Both sandwiches were really good. We were looking forward to visiting this place all weekend and trying it out. Would definitely recommend stopping by. The reason it's not 5 stars from me is because we ordered the Caprese with Prosciutto but did not get any prosciutto at all.
