The atmosphere is extremely elegant, the fish is high quality and well prepared and presented. I have been to over 30 sushi restaurants in the city of SF and Otoro Sushi is literally the best quality sushi experience you can get for the price.The service is always pleasant. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. What a nice gem in the neighborhood. Agedashi tofu, karaage chicken, asparagus with Kobe beef and spicy tuna hand roll and shoyu ramen were so delicious ! Highly recommend this place.

Excellent meal. Reasonably priced for San Francisco. Agadashi tofu was delicious and good size. Skewer scallop appetizer with garlic sauce was tasty but quite small portion for price. Hamachi crudo and seared white tuna were very flavorful and large portion. Rolls were all excellent. Much better value than other Hayes Valley Japanese restaurants.
