The Carzle Sando is loaded with Romanian pastrami, brisket, provolone, cherry peppers, pickles, cole slaw, and Board sauce, all snugly nestled in a garlic French roll. The Romanian pastrami was especially savory and mouthwatering.Although it leans towards the pricier side, the quality and taste justify every penny spent. “Remember the grade school taunt, "If you love something, why don't you marry it?" I totally want to marry this sandwich. In fact, I want to commit polygamy. These sandwiches are THAT amazing. The pork belly sandwich has these crispy nubs of deep fried pork skin, thoughtfully diced so that your teeth don't struggle, scattered on top of the filling of the most tender slices of pork belly imaginable. And the Le Dip? Don't get me started. The sirloin is perfectly cooked and shaved so thin that you get the mille feuille effect (Have you ever had mille feuille tonkatsu? Yeah, it's like that). The horseradish sauce is bracing, not overwhelming. And the sandwich fillings are nestled in this special Vietnamese baguette which is unlike a French baguette. It has a glassine crust that shatters the moment your teeth make contact and gives way to a pillowy interior. Eating this sandwich is the type of experience that makes you melancholy the closer you are to the end because you don't want the experience to come to an end.“

“SF has plenty of good sandwiches, but a nice Italian hoagie is hard to find. This place is near the top of my list for SF, especially after Marine Submarine changed owners and the new spot is not even close to what it used to be (and not to mention a very different style). Sandwiches come is different sizes to match your appetite. The slides meats are very high quality, and not just your average deli slices. I recommend the corned beef, pastrami, and roast beef. Like many Italian hoagies, the sauce is incredibly important and has to coat the lettuce and tomatoes just right. The bread is nice and flaky, and not too soft or doughy like a lot of other places. If I lived closer I would come here once a week. Note that they no longer have tables for you to sit inside, the are only take out right now.“

“Tasty delectable toasted sandwiches made fresh to order at this great little sandwich shop. Friendly, enthusiastic service from the folks here every time! Located on Taraval Street in the Outer Sunset, one will find not just one, not two, but three different sandwich shops within a few blocks of each other. All are good and great at their own specialties, but I find myself returning to Grubbin' over and over again. Order by just calling them up on the phone, and walk or drive or catch the L-Taraval train/bus that stops right across the street from their front door. Skip those delivery apps that rip off small businesses like these.. I come here for my favorite sandwich that I save for special occasions - no, not for big events like birthdays or big anniversaries, but for those days when you either want to celebrate a bit or need a special treat after a long week.. Typical sandwich shop storefront vibe, with a couple of casual sit down tables and chairs inside, but most folks grab 'n go, as you would expect. My favorite here is the "Sweet Mouth Waterin'" Sandwich. Served on a crunchy yet soft on the inside Dutch Crunch Roll, the SMW is Grubbin's rendition of a non-spicy fried chicken sandwich with thick chunks of chicken breast meat dipped in batter and deep fried, accompanied with honey mustard and the standard sides (that come with all of their sandwiches of lettuce, tomato, onions, and their trademark "grub sauce" which I think is a little like "Thousand Island Dressing" perhaps.. put that all together and you've got a filling meal even before you get to your potato chips. Of course there are plenty of other meaty sandwich choices and all-veggie ones if that is more your speed. Tater tots too!! Also, the usual selection of Frito Lays chips are here, but their best chips are the Tim's Cascade Chips from the PNW.. Tim's Honey BBQ is awesome! Pro Tip: If you decide to become a regular here like me, be sure to get a rewards card that gets stamped for every sandwich you order from here. Once you have ten stamps, you get a sandwich of your choice totally for free - and gladly too!! A nice perk, and super when you are the one who orders up food for your friends/coworkers.. You'll get that free sandwich in no time! Proud to be a regular here! =). They still don't know me, but they are happy to fill my orders!“

“Embarcadero Center Gem: Unwrapping the Delicious Secret of 5th Avenue Deli & Market I was looking for something new to try when I got hungry, so I asked my colleague for a recommendation. She suggested 5th Avenue Deli & Market, a small, hidden gem tucked away in the Embarcadero Center near the corner of Clay and Drumm streets. They offer a large selection of sandwiches, non-alcoholic drinks, and chips to accompany their creations. Since I'm not a picky eater, I asked the friendly cashier what their most popular sandwich was. Without hesitation, he declared, "SanFranPsycho!" This sandwich features honey turkey, bacon, Gouda cheese, garlic butter, pesto, and Cajun mayo, all piled high on your choice of bread. I went with sourdough, gutted out and toasted with everything. While 5th Avenue has no indoor seating available, there are benches outside in the Embarcadero Center. I took it back to the office, and with the first bite, I was in love! The sandwich was perfect - the bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, the flavors exploded in my mouth, and it was incredibly filling. I'm officially a fan! If you work nearby and have a sandwich craving, check out 5th Avenue Deli & Market. This is one sandwich experience you won't regret!“

“Rolled the dice and today Deli Man was the winner. I’m not mad at the choice it was a hefty sandwhich made well. Service was awesome, I walked in scatter brained and my guy was patient and helpful. I wanted to try the tri tip but unfortunately is unavailable at the moment but will hopefully return soon(get well buddy). So after a long hard look at the menu with a little bit of disappointment I decided to get a Turkey Bacon and Avacado with everything on it on a soft roll and a side of banana pudding. The sandwhich was good size loaded with turkey and bacon. The way it was put together was a perfect stack. 8/10The Banana Pudding was also a hit, not to sweet and a pretty big serving. 8.5/10Parking: Parking is not impossible but it is a task. I circled the block a few times. Double parking could work just watch the carKid-friendliness: Pre made sandwiches and a good snack sectionWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“

“Guys that was amazing. 10/10 I highly recommend the pork belly Bahn Mi. I requested not to get the jalapeños. Next time I think I would ask to remove the cilantro since there was quite long pieces in there. The service was super quick and the staff were polite. Thank you for a wonderful experience.“
