Seven Hills opens their kitchen and welcomes you into their home. The truffle pasta is what my boyfriend and I come back for every single time. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and the food is made so fresh. Truly incredible tasty date night spot — book ahead of time for sure as it does get busy. The polpette is a must try as well, the sauce is incredible

Consistently one of the best restaurants in the City. Every dish is amazing here! Favorites include the duck liver pate, the steak, any pasta dish but most especially the maccheroncelli!

Really great experience. The staff was fantastic and our waiter was super enthusiastic, which really made the evening even better. All of his suggestions were marvelous and the food was very nicely done. Great neighborhood location with fantastic food, and not crazy expensive. Certainly give it a try.

Fantastic pastas, terrific servers, and a lovely Italian wine list that won't break the bank. Bring your appetite and wallet, and "why not get both" when trying to decide between pasta dishes (or all of them). Oh, and just set your car on fire out front cuz you won't find a parking spot or even a public garage for miles. Uber/Lyft-it.

Food was very good; pasta was very fresh. Loved the Duck Liver Pâté and Beet Salad. Service was excellent. My wife loved that they recommended sharing dishes and recommended the order that they would be served. Ambiance was nice. Only street parking available.

The food wasn't my favorite. We got the market fish and fettuccine. Both lacked flavor. It didn't feel like I ate a meal. The service was perfect. Tony was very attentive. Very considerate of food allergies. The wine selection was decent. The prices were good for the experience but I won't go back.

Amazing service! Celebrated an anniversary tonight and would definitely come back. Truffle shaving over the pasta was absolutely incredible. Thank you for the awesome wine recommendations too! You made our night so special!

It seems like there's so many Italian restaurants on San Francisco that it's hard to choose. Fortunately all of them that I've tried are very good, and now I can count Seven Hills among the list.Pasta was excellent, especially the black truffle tortellini.I especially liked the Negroni which was made of white wine instead of gin, and it was very well done! ?The only let down was the outdoor seating. I mean, you're paying a premium for pasta and the outside seating does not live up to the price point - it falls very far short and without any kind of adjustment to reflect this I feel compelled to adjust my rating.

4 stars because their pasta is delicious but their portion sizes make me very sad ?

My wife and I dined at Seven Hill for Valentine's, and while our overall experience was positive, the hefty price tag left us expecting a bit more value for our money. The service was undoubtedly the highlight of our evening, as the staff, including our server, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly elevated the dining experience. However, when it came to the cuisine, we couldn't help but feel a bit underwhelmed. The food, though well-presented, leaned towards the salty side, and the portion sizes left us wanting more. For the price point of $600 (including tip) for two, we anticipated a more indulgent and satisfying culinary adventure. Despite these qualms, it's essential to acknowledge the positives, particularly the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their warmth and professionalism certainly contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. In conclusion, Seven Hill offers a charming ambiance and outstanding service, making it a viable option for those seeking a delightful dining experience. However, potential patrons should be aware that the pricing may not fully align with their expectations regarding food quality and quantity.

Outstanding V-Day dinner. The tagliarini with pork sugo might be in the top 5 pastas I have ever had -my date had the Sea bass which was cooked perfectly. Not easy with the large crowd. Service was outstanding and Alexis was on top of everything in the kitchen and dining room. The short rib on creamy polenta was fork tender and extremely flavorful. Just a memorable dinner.

Great food for a very reasonable price. Excellent service. New plates and cutlery between each course (very important!!) Ashton was one of the best waiters we’ve had!
