First Ethiopian food since moving from NYC 5 years ago! Was so happy to stumble on this place visiting SF!Friendly family owned spot. Cashier/waiter was super friendly and nice!!We got the veggie and meat combos with the special kitfo (always get that if you love spicy food!!) - all were great!! The honey wine is a must if you enjoy sweet with spicy food :)
Their food is delicious! I really like Ethiopian food, and I've been here a couple of times. They have a great variety of dishes, including breakfast ones. We really like their key sir (beet and potato dish) and beef tibs. They brought us extra injera when we needed some on our first visit. Service is friendly and quick, and there is plenty of comfortable seating.

We love Ethiopian food but this experience was underwhelming. The Gomen Besega (a “lamb dish”) had almost zero lamb, which was quite disappointing. The sambussas were dry and light on filling. The vegetarian combo was our favorite dish.
