I've been a fan of this place for a long time. I love their soup dumplings, Shanghai rice cakes, and pan fried pork baos. Their house stir fried noodles are great for just a kick of spice and immense flavor.
First time here, was actually trying to go to Mama Lu's dumpling House. Waitlist was 50-75 mins but added myself through yelp-so convenient. But I was so hungry said let me see what is best thing near by which was Lu's Garden. Parking was horrible so second round around I saw mama's dumpling house. According to the waitress this is not the same location or owners of the one was tying to go to in Monterey Park. It is one of our favorite places.... the place is not out of the extraordinary . We have tried various dishes from their menu and have never been disappointed. My family loves the seaweed fish and the rice cakes dishes. Staff is always friendly, never had issues with parking. Even if they are busy never encountered a long waiting time. Nice family ambience.
