I met up with a friend here on June 28, 2021 for lunch at 11am. At first I was a little worried that the parking lot was small and that they weren't allowing indoor dining yet (although at least I liked that they're still taking extra COVID precautions). The owner still let me use the restroom that was accessible from the parking lot. It was small and clean. Support your local restaurants!! Especially ones like Omar, with delicious regional food. I've never had Uyghur food before, so when my friend suggested grabbing food from here, I jumped at the opportunity. It was super easy to place an order in advance online and pick up was a breeze (they have a parking lot!). Food-wise, we tried the big plate chicken and the lamb skewers. Both were fantastic! Omar Restaurant is a great Xinjiang stop that is delicious and unique.Currently during the pandemic (as of 4/10/21), indoor dining is not available and they unfortunately don't have an area set-up for outdoor dining. They do have a big parking area available and you'll be ordering through their backdoor entrance. At 2:00PMish on a Saturday, things were quiet (my friend and I were the only customers).
