I was today years old when I found out that not all Sam Woo's are the same. We learned from the staff that the children of original owner now manages the various location. The same business model of BBQ counter attached to a restaurant, but the menu varies depending on the management.We were craving some items we had in a Sam Woo location in the Valley, but they didn't have it here. Free lemon tea and rice for each person, duck is the best, porrigues (dine in only) is tasty.You should come in before 8PM to order duck or any other BBQ, because their BBQ department might close at 8pm.

Haven't been here since the pandemic. Food is still great. The portions are generous. I was ready with my order before i got to the restaurant. As opposed to many places, this has not changed. I was looking for chicken with mixed vegetables for an elderly person and since it was not in the menu, the waiter told us that he could make it. IT was fantastic. Highly recommend walnut honey shrimp, walnut short ribs, salt and spicy squid. all their food is great. You will not get disappointed....read full review
