The people are super, super nice! The food was excellent and clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. They are closed every Tuesday and stay open late other nights. The wooden tables and benches make the place look unique. If you have the app "chow bus" they are on that for delivery services. Go grab a warm meal. After ownership change, the vibes aren't the same anymore. The food is still really good and authentic, but the atmosphere isn't lively anymore. No music playing and it was completely silent, kind of awkward. It's just the owner's wife (I think?) serving now. But even though the food was still good, the lack of service/atmosphere quality is enough for us to not go back anymore.

We came with a group that regularly eats in SG Chinese restaurants. One member has experienced at least 100 of them in his blog. I wasn’t expecting much given some of the reviews, but we all were pleasantly surprised. The food was some of the best we’ve experienced and yet in such an oddly decorated room.The owner/ chef and his wife were gracious.The food took a little longer than usual to be prepared/served but the wait was ultimately worth it it. We’ll be back.
