At the price everything was, I expected more. The service and atmosphere were good, the main problem is the food. For a steak dinner, you're sitting around $40 a person. At that price, you expect both good texture/mouth-feel and good flavor. While the texture was great, the food was probably the blandest I have ever had at a steak restaurant. Black Angus used to be a staple pre CV. We went recently and our party was so happy about our steak meal and the Campfire Special for two. We know this is not a gouging, overinflated steak house, and we love that! We had filet mignon, and one was overcooked. The server made it right.
