“We swung by to grab some takeaway bao and dumplings, and the service was impressively quick, friendly, and patient. While waiting to cash out, my little niece spotted a furry pink bunny stuck to the metal shelf, and the staff kindly offered it to her, which was part of their Chinese decorations. She was super happy, and I greatly appreciated the kindness. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service—the active listening and thoughtfulness made our first visit memorable. We're already looking forward to returning to this tiny, causal take-out location with no seating. They're situated in a parking plaza with free parking, though it's not extensive. We didn't encounter any issues with parking during our visit.“
“I love how you can watch the chefs cook your food in the woks in their "open" kitchen. The only downside is I smelled pretty smoky afterwards. I stopped by in a group of 2 on a Saturday night for a small dinner. It wasn't too crowded inside with many free tables, although there were many people who picked up delivery/takeout orders during my meal. We got the mapo tofu ($13.99), stir-fried string beans with pork ($15.99), and a bowl of rice each ($2/ea). The mapo tofu came on this sizzling plate that kept it hot the whole time! The tender pieces of tofu were swimming in a savory sauce that had a numbing kick. The pieces of pork in this dish were pretty small and added some umami flavor to the dish, but the tofu was the star of the show. I am glad we ordered rice to soak up all the tasty sauce! The stir-fried string beans had a lot of peppery flavor and were nicely blistered on the surface. Although the string beans were glistening on the surface they did not feel or taste too greasy. The pork in this dish was saltier than in the mapo tofu and at times was a bit too salty for me. I wouldn't have minded the dish without the pork and might even try ordering it without pork next time. The servers are kind and attentive. The seating area is not the fanciest but this is a great spot for a casual and tasty meal!“
“Nice restaurant. The menu has all the typical dishes and more. We just tried a few things on their menu, and everything was good. The wontons in the wor wonton soup was really good. There are lots of veggies in it which I like. We also had the pan-fried pork buns. Crispy bottom. The filling was just ground pork, which was good. We just ordered a couple of vegetable items. Dry string beans and eggplant in garlic sauce. Both were great. The portion size was large, which I appreciate. Lots to take home. I will be going back.“
“We love good Chinese food and we cannot recommend China Delight enough! We order the orange chicken and then a fried rice but the last time we went we ordered the orange chicken twice. That's how good we find it to be. When we used to live closer, I ate there all the time when I was pregnant and the quality is still as amazing now as it was then.“
“My wife Irene Borz and I stopped for a quick lunch on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by the fast and attentive service, great tasty food, long list of favorite dishes.Vegetable eggroll was hot, golden and crispy, neither soggy nor burnt. The sauce had perfect balance of sweet and sour.Hot and sour soup was delicious! Be ready to order a large bowl to share, they do not serve individual cups. Mongolian beef was not what we were used to but still very tasty. Perfectly cooked General Tso's shrimps. The portions were large, we had to take almost a half of them to go.Suggestions for improvements. Get rid of annoying hip-hop music, play something calm and sophisticated, or opposite - really energetic like "Bond on Bond", or "Rasputin" by Boney M., or even Rolling Stones. A small vase with a flower on the table can significantly improve the entire feeling.“
“Great little restaurant in Willow Glen. Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. We had wor wonton soup , Chinese chicken salad and beef chow fun. The food came Out very quickly and was hot and tasty. Really enjoyed the beef chow fun. Definitely will be back to eat here again.“
“it's a small casual place that we found by accident and have a good experience. We had beef huoshao, lamb with onion dumplings and shrimp dumplings. Taste was interesting and good. They have some other unusual plates that we would like to come back to try.“
“Tastes good at a decent price point. Eggplant and fish with pickled vegetables taste fantastic. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. And they would actually honor your request to make food not spicy, unlike a lot of other restaurants.Dietary restrictions: They can make spicy dishes completely not spicy. Which is very important for people with capsaicin sensitivity like me.“
“We came to the area wanting to try out Dan Izakaya, but there was a long wait. We walked by this hidden gem and saw the food pictures looked delicious, so we decided to dine-in. There was not a lot of people sitting inside, but there were a lot of people getting take out. We ordered pork soup dumplings, Nanjing salted chicken, mixed fried rice and green onion pancake. It was a lot of carbs and filled us up since we were starving. The nanjing salted chicken was the highlight. There's maybe not a lot of places that do it this well. It is a lukewarm style dish and the flavor of the salt on the tender duck was delicious. The dough from the green onion pancake and XLB had a nice chewy texture, very homestyle-like. I would pass on the fried rice next time. This is a family run restaurant and very cozy vibe. It was inexpensive for the Bay Area and we just spent around $50 for the meal. Would definitely come back and try their other dishes. They have talented chefs and it is a good spot to go to or have take out, to enjoy something similar to a home-cooked meal.“
“My friend and I had one of the lunch specials. It was great and came with soup, an egg roll, and rice. Had enough for leftovers today. Service was excellent and they have a pleasant dining room. The little shopping strip they are in looks run down but don't let that hold you back!“
“After a long day of moving into our new apartment. My boyfriend and i were craving chines food. We didn't want no Panda Express we wanted something more authentic. My bf remembered that his coworker mentioned Little Chef and was hyping up their House Chicken so we decided to venture off and try this spot. I could already tell this place was going to be good because the parking lot was full, luckily we found parking right away. Upon walking in we got greeted right away. Everything on the line looked fresh and well stocked up, you can tell they care about providing good quality chines food. I got Chow Mein and Orange Chicken. My boyfriend got Chow Mein, Orange Chicken and House Chicken. We also got chili oil on the side. I love that they use the fat noodles for their Chow Mein, they don't use a lot of cabbage which I liked. The Chow Mein was really good. I cant wait to try their fried rice next. Their Orange chicken was delicious. Way better then Panda Express. I was stubborn and didn't listen to my bf when he told me to get the House Chicken as well... gezzz did I regret that later on once I tried some of his. The House Chicken is a must!! Its Savory ,Sweet and Smokey. If you want add a bit of chili oil to give it a kick. Be careful my Bf said their chili was spicy so little goes a long way. They are generous with their portioning. We both couldn't finish this in one sitting. We ate the left overs for dinner and we still had some left for lunch the next day. This is going to be my Go To Spot going forward when craving Chines Food. Cant wait to try everything else they have to offer.“
“Really enjoyed our dinner! The staff were very nice and attentive. Our food was very good, and the portions were decent size. We really liked the Peking spareribs and tomato beef Hong Kong style noodles. It's one of the few restaurants that we found in the area that offers Hong Kong style Chinese food. This unassuming little restaurant is a hidden gem.“
“Overall good! 50 per person, hand-shredded cabbage, fish, cold noodles, tribute dishes, vegetarian dishes, white meat, yellow bean paste are good, but the taste of some ingredients is a bit strong.Disadvantages: The twice-cooked pork is so big and a bit salty; the pea tips are delicious but a bit salty“
“At first, I was gonna give this place a 1 star rating but ended up having a delightful overall experience. After picking up meds next door at Walgreens, I was hungry so decided to give it a try. “Indo-Asian” cuisine sounded interesting. I walked in and the place was empty even though it was close to noon. The lights were dimly lit and no one was around so I wasn’t sure if it was even open. I said “hello” to see if anyone from the back would hear me and some guy came out looking at me all confused too. I asked if they were open and if I could sit down but he didn’t understand what I was saying. I sat down anyway. A few minutes later, a scruffy man came out to take my order. He looked like he just woke up, talked really fast, and was a bit grimy looking. I started to regret my decision to eat there. After waiting maybe 25 mins for my food, I’d have to say that it was really flavorful and worth the wait. This pushed them up 2-3 more stars. As I was eating, I watched some teenager walk in to ask for a job. Turns out the grimy waiter was the owner of the place. After a brief conversation, the owner told the kid he could come in the next morning and gave him a job. Witnesses this act of kindness bumped it up another star. After the kid left, the owner came over to sit down and chat with me. We had a lovely conversation about Nepal, how he got into cooking, and he showed me pictures of his beautiful children. This bumped them up another star. This served as a reminder to not be so quick to judge. Kindness goes a long way! Nice little hidden gem on the Eastside, def worth trying!“
“Just ordered from here for the first time. Prices compared to Panda Express are higher, BUT!!!! Taste, quality and authenticity is not comparable. Panda Express is like 7-Eleven burgers versus Black Angus steak burgers AT Black Angus. There is no comparison.“
“Went with my Mom and it was during lunch. The place was half full. It's next to Ranch 99 in the Westfield We got three items. Crispy sweet pork, Shrimp&Egg fried rice and Wonton soup. I will say the fried rice was salty, the flavor was good though. And the Crispy pork was tasty. Totally forgot to take picture of the soup.. If you're hungry with 2 adults you want to order at least 4 dishes. We got 3 and were still not satisfied Fast service there. The workers were also friendly. You order on your phone. Can also pay for bill all thru Qr code. The place looks fairy new Parking lot in front“
“I am not a vegetarian, but I have been eating vegetarian for the last month for personal reasons. I have had a mixed experience looking with vegetarian food at restaurants, but Di Lac is undoubtedly my favorite place so far. Everything we've ordered so far has been very flavorful and has good texture. In fact, Di Lac is so good that I'll keep coming here even after I stop being vegetarian. Our favorite dishes so far are Gà Chay Xào Sả Ớt (Lemongrass Chicken) Đậu Hủ Tương Cay (Tofu with Spicy Sauce). Both are really flavorful and very saucy, so we always end up eating more rice than we intended to. :)“
“I've discovered this place about a year ago and let me tell you having a few bottles of these is mandatory in our fridge. We would come about two times a month to stock up. I would have to say it is quite pricey for soymilk, but for the quality I think it's so worth it! They have three sizes to choose from but we usually always grab the medium and large size. My favorites are the original and rose. Place is tucked away in a plaza, so I feel like that's why people would be driving by and missing this hidden gem. I grew up with Vietnamese soymilk, so when I tried these for the first time, I was surprised with how thick it was ( in a good way ). Everything is made fresh everyday, so once a flavor is out , they won't restock till the next day. Inside the store is small, yet homey, there's usually only one person there but don't worry, there will never be a wait! You can also ask to taste test before committing to a flavor and make sure to keep your bottles bc you can get $1 off for every bottle you bring back!“
“Hands down one of the best Chinese food joints in the South Bay. The quality of the food and taste never disappoints. Service is amazing, Ryan my man at the front is a gem of a guy. Great recommendation. Prices are very reasonable, the portions are massive. The chefs are amazing. Edna at the helm. I am so thankful to discover this gem. Been there a couple times already and promise to be a regular for many years to come. Keep up the good work guys.“
“The pho here is excellent. They give good portion sizes with plenty of meat. The beef is cooked really well and is consistently super soft. The price, quantity, and quality ratio is good. There's always a line going out the door so you'll have to wait a half hour to eat. I've eaten here multiple times and it's always good.“
“This mom-pop shop makes everything to order and the combos are as affordable as Panda Express! We love this place and will definitely frequent it in the coming years :) My husband is Chinese and he said it's one of the best spots for Chinese cuisine in the area.“
“Simple EatsSan Jose’s Little Saigon is a treasure trove of simple comfort eatsRather than advance reservations or prix-fixe menus, you find an abundance of flavors served simply and quicklyI dropped by Leung Noodle to try of the newer Cambodian style Hu Tieu noodle specialistsAt 10:30 AM, the place was packed and bustling…always a good signThe menu focuses on only one item - Hu Tieu - and simply offers multiple customization optionsI ordered the Dac Biet (special) that is served with a large pork bone. I chose the dry style with soup on the side, chose both egg and rice noodle, and ordered a simple beef ball soup for extra brothFlavors are great, especially the signature sauces and the condiment game is strong with delicious pickled garlic and chili oilI found Leung Noodle cleaner than Nam Vang, less artificial tasting than Dalat, and with a more authentic Hu Tieu version than China Chen noodle options (I ❤️ China Chen)Leung Noodle (Silver Creek, San Jose) has no geolocation or instagram handle? #2 Dac Biet (Saigon Special), Kho (Dry style with special sauce), Hu Tieu Mi (Rice and Egg noodles) $15.50 ~ Saigon shrimp and pork, (#1 toppings of slice pork, ground pork, liver, heart, shrimp, squid, fried garlic, green onions, cilantro / Beef Ball Soup $6?Leung Noodle (San Jose, CA)Indoor dining only. Credit cards including AmEx accepted. $0.50 surcharge for credit cards.“
“The food/soup is delicious and when it says spicy, better believe that!!I ordered Combo D which is beef bone rice noodles + your choice of appetizer and/or green bean soup or poached veggies. I got the fried pork dumplings and green bean soup as my sides. The green bean soup comes out first because it’s served cold and I was glad it was because when I got done with my soup and drinking the broth, I needed something cold and sweet. The green bean soup is slightly sweet. I had no idea but it is a dessert soup. The beef bone soup comes out with the soup/noodles in the large bowl and meat w/spicy sauce ima separate bowl. I’m not sure if I did it right but I poured the whole bowl of meat and sauce into my noodles and it became like hot lava! I love spicy and this had me sweating and coughing. Loved every bit but please be mindful of your heat tolerance. The pork dumplings are served piping hot and freshly made! Crispy bottoms and soft tops! I would take a bite of the dumpling and then soak it in the soup broth to soak up the flavor and bam, soup dumpling!Definitely give this place a try! Located adjacent to Lion Supermarket. If you blink, you’ll miss it and you don’t wanna miss it!“
“Quick and easy but always fix the craving f crabs. You know what I mean!Very efficient and delicious. Consider cheap as today’s living expenses! You will get a buzzer if your order is to~go!We will continue to come back for sure but may not be this location.Parking: Free parking lot!“
“Take it from a Hong Kong kid...these are seriously legit zongzi that taste just like the cantonese ones I grew up with. Definitely above your typical market rates, but I promise these will be true to the OG flavors. It's mostly a food pick-up type of service where you walk up to a shared space and ring a doorbell to have an aunty bring out your stuff.Online ordering was how I did it, but you can also call/text an order over the phone. The ordering process is a bit unusual in that you have to plan these ahead of time (by about 3-days or so depending on time of week) then wait for a confirmation text on the day of. Unfortunately, impromptu cravings must likely be held at bay. Sometimes you can short-notice stuff if they have leftovers, but that's defintely a gamble. With either planning or luck, you'll then walk off with a hefty bag of deliciousness. You can have the option of getting them freshly cooked or frozen (for stocking up).The zongzi are well packaged and tightly wrapped with color-codings to the string to separate the fillings from each other. It's a bit cryptic, but you'll notice those correspond with the pictures on their ordering site. Descriptions of the fillings are true to their amount and pretty well packed with goodness (none of the mostly-rice-zongzi here). After cracking the first one open and taking my first bite, it was like that Ratatouille moment with Anton having flashbacks to his childhood (but like the Chinese version). Filled with delicious aromas and rich succulent glory, with not a dry spot in (culinary) sight. If that hasn't convinced you to at least try these buggers, I'm not sure what will!“
“Although it seems like it's Chinese food, it's actually very authentic Vietnamese food. Lots of great egg noodle soup variations. Food is very affordable - maybe $10-15 per bowl. The waiter pointed us to a seat but some folks sat took and therefore took our table. But I am grateful that the waiter did the hard decision to boot them out and seat us first. Note: I recommend their coconut juice drink. It's so refreshing!“
“Good Yummy mom & pop take-out Chinese food! Kowloon is our go-to! Fortunate to have quality chinese food just a few blocks away!! Beef Chowfun, spicy eggplant, tofu & greenbeans are awesome! Don't forget the DELICIOUS home made potstickers! Homemade, fresh and flavorful!“
“Love going to a place that's open when everyone else is closed at 2:30p. The place has lots of seating but the ambience is not that great. Everything is old inside. The steamed sea bass more that makes up for it. It is so fresh and delicious. The sauce is so tasty. I tried to get the recipe but they said it's a secret. It might be soy sauce specifically for seafood. I will keep coming back just to order this fatty fish. It's so delicious. The Mongolian beef was average. The onions were a little in the raw side. I like it a little more well done and sweeter. The green beans were perfect and crispy. The salt and pepper ribs were also good. It's a hidden gem in evergreen. Come in for a visit.“
“Decent food and great value! We live nearby and come here very often. The food is good with a reasonable price. Highly recommend the house special dry mixed hot bowl and their special potato dish. The place will be even nicer with some remodeling/decoration work done.“
“I usually arrive here after 8pm on weekdays and its occupancy is about 50%. When you come during weekends, it's about 75%. The lady at the counter is very cordial and food usually takes about 10 min to come out. They're very efficient and price is reasonable. I've ordered the HK crispy noodle with seafood, wonton noodle soup, beef & eggplant over rice, and their jalapeno chicken wing is surprisingly tasty. Top cafe is now my go to restaurant for easy quick bites.“
“Ok this is my favorite Chinese food! It tastes delicious and they hook it up. Usually they have everything ready but sometimes you might have to wait 5 min for them to add a new tray of deliciousness ?. Also not as pricey as the other larger Chinese food chains.“
“Amazing! Came here to eat because my aunt recommended it to me. Never knew such a good individual hot pot spot was here all along. I love how deep the flavor is for the mala pot soup. It is a bit on the salty side, but I really love that to eat with the rice. I can tell the quality of the meat is really good because of how tender it is. Each pot is loaded and the price is reasonable. You HAVE to ask for their dipping sauce, it is the best thing ever. Service is amazing and I would definitely be coming back here again soon. Also, CASH ONLY!“
“Haven't had such fluffy buns filled with succulent and flavorful cuts of meat in a while. A friend and I tried their Braised Pork belly Buns, Shoyu Pork Buns, Shaking Beef Buns, crispy tofu buns, Angry bird bowl (off-menu), and mango lassi. Most everything was great, especially the braised pork belly and shoyu pork buns. The tender soy marinated cuts of pork really hit the spot, and I loved the ají verde sauce that came w the shoyu pork bun. The shaking beef reminded me of the sweet and savory korean bbq meats, and the crispy tofu bun had a hickory bbq flavor. I really enjoyed the angry bird bow! It's an off menu item with aromatic fried rice and spicy sautéed chicken. So good! Mango Lassi was a nice smoothie to wash it all downOur host was very kind and informative. The business is run by young chefs and they seem very honest and open to advice! Bun Me Up is located in the Tiki Pete Bar, good music and great place to chill at night.“
“King Eggroll is thriving! I've coming here for a long time, so this review is long overdue. We ordered:1 combo special $13.25, half fried rice, half chow mein, kung pao chicken, salt and pepper chicken2 egg roll $1.90 ea2 fried chicken $1.70 ea1 shrimp ball $2.25 eaStaff is friendly. $10 min charge for credit card purchases. Egg rolls are still top tier. Great for catering and parties.Easy parking in the lot. I prefer the Lundy location over the Story one.Very limited seating to dine in and eat inside.“
“We ordered this for work, and it was incredibly tasty. The portion size was solid for the price point (especially compared to all the other places we order from), and everything tasted delicious. I ordered the BBQ pork with tomato rice which came with a side salad as well. They did not include a roll (which some places do with their plates), but I don't think a fried spring roll would have held up well for a group / corporate order. I appreciate the thoughtful packaging. They even separate my tomato rice from the meat which allowed me to taste the flavors separately. My coworkers who ordered their vermicelli dishes had the meat on top of the noodles (which makes sense). I wish U-Pick was closer to where I live, I would definitely make this a regular stop. I hope this becomes a regular option for our lunch orders at work. For those of you who can't take the heat (I can only take some), the hot sauce is full of seeds and legitimately spicy. Even my coworkers who eat really spicy (as in high spice Indian / Chinese foods) said the hot sauce here is really spicy. I don't think of this as a negative, but more as U-Pick's badge of spicy honor!“
“We've never dined in, but we've done takeout multiple times. This place does truly traditional Human food, which is to say that if it has a spicy pepper ?️ by it, be prepared for the heat! For a base starch, we love their chow mein and fried rice. Their veggie spring rolls are a great appetizer. For this time, we tried the Basil eggplant (loved it), Mongolian chicken, and Hunan bean curd. Both chicken and tofu were quite spicy, but the flavors and textures were all great. They were so friendly when I picked up the food and we will probably eat in next time to try that out.“
“BEST CHINESE FOOD IN YEARS! We enjoyed the delectable orange chicken, sweet n’ sour chicken and the GENEROUS amount of fried rice. And all at a very good price! Best bang for your buck I’ve seen recently. Will definitely be coming back very often!“
“Took my parents here who have never had dumplings and they loved it. We had the beef, pork and shrimp, and veggie SJBs, charsiu bao, and chicken and pork xlb. Everything was really delicious but our unanimous favorite was the beef SJB. Definitely will be coming back when I get a soup dumpling craving.“
“Dim sum without the cart ladies. They have dim sum brought out in the carts after you order with their electronic tablet on the tables. But be aware they really only look at the food order that prints, and you have to ask the human waiters for water and napkins, even after you select those things on the tablet. Food was decent, the service was decent, large parking lot in san jose is a big deal. The price is lower than higher end places, and if you are okay with to go chopsticks and cantonese (or pointing) as the main communication, this is a decent option.I would come here if i did not want to spend double at asian pearl. But if i want bigger and better quality, maybe only if i was less than 5 miles away.“
“For Lunar New Year, my wife and I "discovered" a really super Chinese restaurant within walking distance of home! May Flower, at Saratoga and DeMille. Small but tidy, the food was amazing. Huge menu including many unusual/exotic dishes and everything was top-notch.“
“First time ever going here. Hidden gem. They had a great lunch special for only $14.99. I got the Mongolian beef with friend rice. Very tasty and fresh. No msg was added. Great place to go to for great Chinese food. Service was very fast and efficient. We got seated right away and given water right away. They brought out our food very quickly. The lighting was perfect. Super clean restaurant. The restaurant is a little hidden. very spacious for a time place. They can sit big parties.“
“We celebrated our wedding banquet at Grand Dynasty Cupertino this past weekend and it was everything we could have wanted out of a wedding venue. Spacious, delicious hot food, reliable and trustworthy staff and most importantly clean bathrooms! We planned our wedding in under 2 months and the restaurant manager, Esmond, was an absolute delight to work with. He was attentive and flexible and made sure our wedding went smoothly. We can’t thank Esmond enough for his guidance as we planned one of the biggest nights of our lives. Grand dynasty is very lucky to have him! I would recommend this venue for any type of celebration as they have small to medium to large sized rooms available for your hosting needs.“
“This food is delicious as always! delicious! However, a problem was discovered today regarding billing. The correct tip calculation should be: consumption amount + a few percent tip + consumption tax. But the impression in Shaoshan is that the consumption amount + consumption tax = the total amount * a few percent tip. Consumption tax is also included in the tip amount. This is not right, this is a problem that has not been encountered in other restaurants before when checking out. I hope the boss can pay attention to this issue. Thank you!“
“"Absolutely love this Chinese restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff always greet you with warm smiles and great attitudes. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. The dishes are flavorful, fresh, and authentic. Whether it's the savory stir-fries or the mouthwatering dumplings, every bite is a delight. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with exceptional customer service!"“
“3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars. Ordered the Christmas Combo via Weee. The food was tasty in general but it was WAY too salty. Beef Ribs and the Crab Roe "Lion's Head"(meatballs) were particularly good. The sea cucumbers in the Stewed Sea Cucumber with Scallions weren't the best quality and had a funny alkaline taste. Generous amounts of chicken, pork, red dates, goji berries etc were used in making the Ginseng Chicken Soup. Nutritious, soothing and warming for the chilly winter weather. It'd have been a perfect alternative to homemade soup if not for extreme saltiness. Other items were standard tasting. Pretty happy with this Christmas Combo overall. Had a somewhat decent gourmet meal delivered right to the door without spending hours slaving away in the kitchen.“
“Chinese Skewers are popping up everywhere, but The Skewer Bar is probably one of the first ones to start the trend. This place has all sorts of meats, veggies, and seafood options for skewers along with exotic bites like fried bugs. We did not try any of those this time around, but we did enjoy the Spicy Clams and Hunan Dry Rice Noodles. Next time you're in the mood for Chinese Skewers, this place is another option for ya!* Spicy Clams* Grilled Beef Bone Marrow* Whole Eggplant* Hunan Dry Rice Noodles* Skewers: BBQ Beef Steak w/ Peppers, Chicken Skin, Pork Rib, Pork Intestines, Fish Ball, Beef Steak, Mini Beef Skewers, Pork Belly, Squid Tentacles“
“The restaurant is right next to the AMC movie theater and features very high-quality, delicious fresh rice noodle soup dishes from the southwest region of Yunnan in China bordering Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. We tried their signature crossing-the-bridge noodle soup with wagyu beef and black truffles, where a gigantic bowl of steamy hot broth was served with thinly sliced wagyu beef, black truffle slices, pea shoots, corn, Chinese chives, morel mushrooms, wood ears, corn and other little dishes. Then the waiter threw everything into the broth and the foods were cooked in the hot soup right in front of your eyes, which was fun to watch. They said their broth had been simmered with whole chickens and spices for over 24 hours. If you like the noodles spicy, they have the pickles and chili oil made in house, which added additional layers of complexity to the dish. The end result was simply scrumptious and memorable. We also tried the spicy ground pork noodle soup and the Golden Triangle noodles, the latter of which was vegetarian and had a unique flavor, with poppy seeds in the sauce. The cucumber salad tasted really fresh and the pig ear salad was also very authentic (not too spicy but full of flavor). The owner was around. He was extremely friendly, and tried to greet and talk to every table. A one-of-a-kind place where the delicious foods were prepared with a great deal of care and creativity. We will be coming back soon.“
“The crispy fried calamari was a hit. The calamari rings were perfectly crispy, without being greasy. The seasoning was spot on, with a hint of spice that added a nice kick. The accompanying dipping sauce was flavorful and complemented the calamari well. It was a delicious appetizer that was a crowd-pleaser.“
“I came here with my boyfriend to have early lunch and I want to say this is probably the best hu tieu place I've ever had . Service was amazing, friendly, and fast. Super cozy inside. They were very attentive to their customer. Would definitely come back !!“
“The four of us went here tonight for dinner. We were 25 minutes late but they seated us anyway. The parking lot looked pretty full but we managed to grab a spot. They had all our favorite Hot pot. Ingredients: shrimp paste, veggies, assorted tofu, a ginormous lamb and beef platter ring, etc. we really like the house special bone broth, but the spicy special House broth was pretty spicy.Service was really fast and efficient.Vibe was pretty young with club music playing in the background. We got a basket of deep fried pork which was apparently recommended but I was so full. I could hardly eat more than a few pieces.Overall great price would come here again.p“
