This place was recommended to me by a friend. We decided to order through DoorDash. We ordered a Cali Burrito, a super burrito, asada taco, chorizo taco, carne asada fries, an asada quesadilla and chimichanga (we are a big family lol). If my grandma were Mexican and we came to her house for a special meal, This is the kind of meal I would expect we might have. I was in search of something authentic and homemade, and this place exceeded my expectations. They also have a little bar. I tried a yummy Hennessey and horchata cocktail, while my friend opted for a margarita (in which they gave her Patron but charged the house tequila price). I consider myself a burrito aficionado, and do my best to tour the city of San Jose to find the best burritos. That said, I think Agave Taqueria has some of the best, if not the best, burritos I've ever had..... their ingredients are fresh, their salsa bar has multiple choices, and always very fresh...
