“Easy to park in their parking lot, grab a number by the front, check out Italian foods as you make your way to the back to place your order. Efficient and friendly staff! Convenient outdoor patio between the parking lot and entrance to eat the fresh pasta right away. Ravioli was so fresh and pillowy!“
“The address is not the front of the restaurant on Lincoln. You need to park in the back, that is where the restaurant is located! This place is INSANELY good. Highly recommend the sole almondine. I’ve never been into fish and my family was fighting over this dish. Apparently it’s their best seller. Rightfully so!The angry pasta, seafood with mixed sauce, and paella were so delicious. The owner, David, is so friendly and is the genius behind the menu.“
“Maggiano's has become our family's Easter lunch location. Lots of food, fun and excitement for everyone. The family style dining allows everyone to enjoy the family time without the cleaning and cooking. The salmon is fantastic and a must try.“
“Everything we had was amazing. We brought two of our friends for dinner. The gilled octopus was prepared perfectly. We shared a beet salad, everything was very fresh. I had the Ossobucco, it was prepared perfectly as well. Service was excellent“
“Wow unbelievably tasty! Amazing customer service as well, I ordered a combination pizza and some wings, everything freshly made very delicious and outstanding customer service! Moved nearby 4 years ago had no idea about this place but it will be my go to now! All meat is halal also- nice plus yum yum! Be back soon!!!!“
“Anything and everything, great. Quick pick up for pasta, delicious. And them pork chop cuts are no joke, what a great cast iron dinner we had with it! Beer & snack selections hit the spot, no frills.Parking: Plenty of parking across the street if you're just picking up, but best not to meet up with people in separate cars to eat there.“
“Bistro Tupaz was a nice surprise. It is a restaurant in a small shopping mall of Santa Teresa serving French and European dishes. I had a bavette steak you don't easily find in restaurants and it was delicious. Even if it was slightly overcooked, the meat was tender and tasty. Cassoulet was great. We had fresh beignets for dessert, a true treat with warm chocolate sauce. Friendly service, as it was my husband's birthday we also left with an extra raspberry pie at no charge. Highly recommended for good food without breaking your budget.“
“Went to Palermo Italian Restaurant with my best friend for the first time recently, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Atmosphere was quaint and cozy, the food… phenomenal! Our server Lucia (hopefully I got spelling right, lovely Brazilian girl) was so attentive and informative, it really made us feel special. I would highly recommend Palermo’s and I will definitely go back whenever I am in San Jose.Parking: Street parking is a little tight but they have two overflow parking lots. One directly across the street and the other a little further down, about a 3-5 minute walk.“
“I feel like I just had a real cannoli for the first time here, and all previous cannoli were shameful imposters. They fill the cannoli shell to order here and the result is incredibly fresh and has wonderful textures. Go there right now and get one!“
“Wonderful meal and fast, exceptional service! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! They are so accomodating and for a minimal charge, they will even allow you to switch out different pasta sauces and add/swap out meat & seafood choices. Our server, Chelo qas awesome! Loved that he had pictures on his tablet of the dinner specials to show us as he described them. Highly recommend dining here!“
“Pollo Campero is a fantastic option for takeout! Their chicken is the real star - you can choose between their famous crispy fried chicken or opt for the juicy grilled option. Both are bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous. I will come back “
“Wonderful and modern food truck. Was walking around the city looking for a healthy meal. I approached Carlos and asked for his help to make me something healthy and clean. He prepared me a phenomenal Colombian dish with chicken. Highly recommend stopping by“
“Love their pizza and food. They even did a side of sautéed spinach for me. Their roasted garlic made it extra special. Wished it was a regular item on the menu.Parking: Disabled, pick up, and regular parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“Pizza Express prepared a meal for my team of 70 players and they were fantastic! They prepared individual pasta meals of Spaghetti -N- Meatballs and Chicken Alfredo. They also provided Bread Sticks and Salad. They delivered everything to the school, on time and gave us utensils as well. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future. Thanks Again Pizza Express!!!“
“This is my go-to place when the family wants something fast and delicious. Our usual order consists of the gourmet veggie pizza and bbq chicken pizza. Every time, the quality is consistent and toppings are generous. Service is great whenever I pick up my order.“
“Great customer service. And willingness to accommodate customers based on your own personal preferences. Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Warming place good environment. Family friendly place, totally worth it. Very much recommended. I was invited by my boss the first time I came to this place I loved the food, and service that made me come back to enjoy dinner knowing that I would be welcomed and treated with dignity. Apart from that their food itself it’s yummy. Definitely. Food, and service on point. All employees super helpful and friendly at all times.“
“This is my family's third time here. We are always welcomed warmly and Tyler has always greeted my kids with enthusiasm and a smile. We are definitely new regulars here for laundry day. We love the food, the service and price, they make us feel like family. God bless this “
“Do not snooze on joining this very active wine club. There are multiple tastings a week and frequent wine club events at very reasonable prices! The pizza is great here, and we're thrilled they've added pasta to the menu. The bar offers a good beer selection, a few liquor cocktails, and a mind-boggling wine list, plus the bottle shop options.Gratuity is built into the menu pricing. You can choose counter service (good for split checks) or opt for table service in the back.“
“Yummy food here! We came to this place while visiting Amato's. Our daughter doesn't like cheese stake sandwiches but loves pizza. This place has a variety of pizzas and other goodies. The place looks clean and the staff is friendly. There's also plenty of parking as there is a parking lot. Price is reasonable for what you get. The food is delicious! You'll be coming back here to try some of their other pizza mash ups. They have several different types of pizzas. You'll be wanting to try more than one. I would recommend this place! It's delicious!“
“If you are unfamiliar with TonyDiMaggio’s, then you are obviously new around here, because Tony’s is well known.I’ve a concept, a rule-of-thumb, if you will, when it comes to dining: “wherever the cops go to eat is where the food and service are consistently good.” I think you’ll find that this is reasonably true.[Note5: f you ever offer an alibi, such as “I was at Tony Di’Maggio’s da night of da incident,” then the cops will know you’re lying because they eat here all the time: “(Laughter)…What are you, a clown? Real funny, wise guy. We, the cops, were at Tony’s that night having the best stromboli. You, however, might have been at some clown convention…]Years and years ago, Tony himself (may he rest in peace) waited our table. I asked for my Stromboli with “sauce on the side and hold the mustard,” to which Tony replied,“Yours is to go. Your friends - they can stay. But, you, you’re going with your Stromboli, mister ‘hold the mustard,’” (“you little prick, you,” he must have thought).(My friends looked at me as if I was full of insults.) [My mistake, Tony. After all, what do I know about Stromboli except where to get the best?]“
“LOVE Dolce Sicilia! Over the years, I've had their cookies, gelatos, and espressos from here... It's always fantastic. I love to share assorted cookies with family and friends and their gelato is hand made fresh in the shop. But what compelled me to write a review is their limoncello cake. It is so light yet decadent and not overly sweet. We enjoyed this on Mother's Day and it will now be a go-to cake for celebrations. Looking forward to trying their pastas!“
“This place was right my my job and my co worker and I decided to try it out and it was delicious, pretty good pasta, service was FANTASTIC but what really got us was the desserts. We both got the tiramisu and I've never had such amazing tiramisu in my LIFE“
“First time we have eaten here and it didn't disappoint. The manicotti was delicious. The pizza was very good. The restaurant was old looking but very clean. The bathroom was very clean which I think says a lot about a restaurant. The service is top notch and I look forward to going back.“
“Tomato Thyme is a Willow Glen dinner staple. The vibe inside is warm and inviting. Each table comes with a jar of crayons and you can draw on the paper placemats. This can provide the table with a conversation starter or a fun round of tic tac toe with a sibling. We ordered the calamari appetizer, sole piccata and spaghetti alfredo. The calamari was light, crispy, and infused with garlic. The sole piccata did not disappoint! It was soft, savory, and melted in my mouth. The spaghetti alfredo could have used a little more pizzazz but it went down easily as well!“
“High quality top of the line pizza, one of the best pizza I have had. The staff was very helpful. It feels like home Angelina felt like my auntie. I recently had my big 25th birthday there and it was a spectacular experience. Thanks to Bogeys Pizza I had a blasting 25th birthday.“
“Great place to eat pizza and have a Michelada! The pizzas are delicious. The dough tastes as if it was home made. Fresh ingredients! We had pizza Al Pastor and BBQ Chicken. We went on a Sunday it wasn't crowded. They have booths and tables you can put together for a bigger group. They got our food out quick. Friendly staff! I will definitely come back during Happy Hour. Can't find a Michelada elsewhere for $5!“
“When you're craving a slice on a Sunday evening in San Jose, Pizza Bocca Lupo is the spot to hit. With its elegantly slender crust and an assortment of time-honored toppings, this establishment crafts a pie that is both authentic and sophisticated. Amidst the ebb and flow of the city's rhythm, when many doors close, Pizza Bocca Lupo remains a beacon of consistency and affordability. It rightfully claims its status as one of San Jose's premier pizzerias, delivering quality that elevates even the simplest of meals.“
“Very nice dinner here. Seated right away. Service was just a tad bit slow, but not horrible. I ordered lasagna, which was very tasty. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I will definitely come back.Parking: Not many parking options. Try the social services lot off Julian St. Might have luck there.“
“I was in town a few weeks ago when the 49ers were playing the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship game. On that Sunday morning, while waiting for my Uber outside the airport, I had a group of visiting Detroit Lions fans ask me, "Where is there to eat in the place (San Jose)?". I told them they had to the The Littlest Little Italy. I advised them to get a sandwich at Torino Panino, get a slice of Bibo's pizza next door, and enjoy their lunch outside on the back patio. I also suggested that they go with The Godfather sandwich and told them my lady friend always gets a Caprese Shaker. I went on to tell them that the service is always top-notch, all the food is great, and the overall vibe of the place is very cool. Why would I help out Detroit Lion fans? I would hope if I was in Detroit to see the Niners, that someone there would provide me with a great restaurant suggestion as well.“
“Thank you to the Rosie's NY Pizza crew for treating us to a great pizza and extras on top of what we ordered. Your large combo is an extra extra large at other places. Quality ingredients do translate to better taste. My teenage son who's hungry all the time lately very much appreciated the extra garlic knots. OMG! Everyone must try garlic knots from Rosie if you love garlic knots. I will be ordering garlic knots without pizza in the future, that's how good it is. Also love the daily specials so we get to try new pasta dishes. Thank you again!“
“We love this restaurant! My teenage daughter and I always order food from here, atleast once a month-sometimes twice a month, and it's always delicious, always consistent in taste, portion, ingredients, and freshness. And the guys and gals who work there are always pretty friendly and accommodating. We have no complaints and reccomend this food to anyone who wants delicious, consistent Italian food. Thanks Risotto's!“
“The ambiance was very nice and the service was good. We got our appetizers quick, but it took a while to get our entrees. The thousand layer lasagna was amazing, but my GF's Spaghetti Pomodoro was just okay, it was missing something, maybe more basil. The creamy polenta and garlic bread were also tasty! We got the sundae for dessert, and that also took a while to get. All in all, I think we'll give it another try, my GF needs to pick another dish.“
“Still great after all these years. Prices are a bit of a sticker shock as they are charging the same as what I pay in NYC at a Fine Dining, even Michelin starred restaurant! They changed the uniforms which was akin to old Hollywood Brown Derby, with waiters in suits but it’s still elegant: all black with tie. Yes families can be comfortable and casual. Atmosphere is beautiful and classic, like stepping into a Time Machine back to the late 50s-early 60s.Service was great! Which we needed after being treated without care at a place called O’Flarretys in San Pedro Square. The waiter, Travis was helpful and caring: made sure my Dad got what he needed and offered helpful suggestions like tonic and bitters for an upset stomach. He showed experienced service. I appreciated it!Original Joes is an upscale Italian diner masked as a fancy restaurant downtown open later than the others. It’s consistent and you can count on it! If it’s not landmarked it should be. Hope it’s always there… aging like a fine wine. Thanks Original Joes“
“Got home late from work and the fam was hungry! I was hesitant as I'm super picky on Italian food but I did it ... door dash came and they packaged it all perfectly. Cold items were in one Bach and hot in the other... the hit actually arrives HOT!!!! Very impressed with delivery. Tossed each pasta so that the sauce on the bottom coated it all back up and they shimmered back to life and all tasted really well. We had left overs for two days and each time even better.Penne all's vodka was the fav. Spaghetti and meatballs my kid ate it all... every little meatball. Spaghetti bolognese was left over night and I mixed in what was left of chicken parm. Chicken park was a little over cooked so tastes better in the pasta next night. Salad dressing was good, wish we had a little more. They even packaged little parm cheese and pestos. We will def be getting again.“
“Very good quality of foods and very friendly personel. I'm often ordering foods from there. One of my favorite take-out kitchens! RecommendedParking: There is many food delivery restorants and half of parking lots during day were busy by doordashers, but, still many free spots to park.“
“Quaint Historical Deli. We read about it in a book about the history of Italian’s in San Jose. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a 1908 Garlic Sausage sandwich. Both were delicious. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful.“
“Out-of-towner stopped in for some pizza. The owner (I assume) was super friendly, as was the rest of the staff. We got the margarita pizza and it was amazing, the crust was fluffy, and it didn't take long at all to come out with how busy they were. Great food, thanks again!Vegetarian options: We got the margarita pizza for the one of us who doesn't eat meat“
“Our wonderful and friendly server, Ernesto, was the greatest. Very attentive and frequently made sure we had everything we needed. Food was yummy, hadn't been there in awhile, so it was my bd, I decided, "lets go!" I had fun! Thanks Ernesto and Olive Garden!“
“This review is for takeout. I am a huge gnocchi fan, so any time I can find a restaurant that makes it I am pretty happy, as long as I am not getting a dish of mush. Vin Santo delivers on the Gnocchi. It's smaller, and has a bit of chew to it, but they are puffy pillows of goodness (to quote my niece). I don't really like red sauce, so I get their Gnocchi con Gorgonzola. The Gnocchi con Gorgonzola is really good. The Gorgonzola is on the mild side though, for me. I like that little pungent kick you get with most Gorgonzola sauces, but it's kind of absent with their sauce. Nonetheless, the sauce is still tasty. It's the right amount of thickness and creaminess. Coupled with the gnocchi it's a yummy dish. The amount looks small at first glance, but it's a lot and makes two meals for me. As I mentioned, I normally do not like red sauce. After being fortunate enough to travel to Italy, I realize I just don't like American-ized red sauces. They are just too sweet for me. I know adding sugar is to help cut down the acidity, but there are other ways to do that without creating a sugary tasting red sauce. That being said, the red sauce Vin Santo uses for their Umberto Meatballs E Garlic Bread is pretty good. It's one of the few I will order. The meatballs are flavorful and taste good. Their marinara is savory and couples well with the meatballs. I also like the garlic bread when it shows up not completely immersed in the sauce. I wish they would send it separate from the meatballs and marinara because by the time it arrives the bread is sometimes a soggy mess. When it hasn't soaked up all of the sauce prior to arrival, it's tasty and a nice add to the dish. I definitely would like to dine there soon, but I will also continue to use the takeout option with them to get my gnocchi fix.“
“Super friendly historic locals bar. Family owned for generations. People struck up conversation with me immediately after I sat down and someone even bought my beer. Talked to a local fisherman about the good spots around and the history of the place. I'll definitely stop back in next time I'm in the “
“I've been going to Pasta Market for a few years now(Los Altos & San Jose locations). It's a hidden gem. They make pasta in house, so it's fresh! Prices are good , and we can take our kids there, no fuss, which is a plus. And you have to get the bread sticks, delicious.“
“We tried their lunch menu. We got a Caesar salad with some bread along with our pasta. We had the pesto and the bolognese sauces, they were good but not amazing. Both sauces and the pasta seemed fresh.Good value for money and very convenient“
“We are from the East Coast and this is authentic New York style pizza from a real pizza oven. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was fresh and wonderful too. The delivery people forgot the cheesecake but they brought it afterward. This food is authentic and very good!“
“Unique spot with circa 1910 decor and mechanical pianos. Food is good quality. You have to order at the the bar but that's reduces waiters time and that's why they are able to afford the more reasonable service charge included with the bill. All and all good “
