“Incredible gluten free pizza!! I got the “City” toppings (minus olives). My husband and son got regular crust pizza and they were “filling” with “fresh ingredients” and “savory.” Choices of both thin and traditional New York thick crust. Atmosphere: We used to live in NYC and this took me right back there, in the middle of California. It felt so authentic I almost got teary eyed.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Went for the live music. It was Saint Patrick's Day and they were serving corned beef and cabbage in addition to their regular menu. The place was packed and I think the live music was a surprise to most of the patrons. The duet playing their own renditions of mostly Rock classics, Mary Ellen and Thom Duell were excellent and very engaging with the audience“
“Our favorite place to go for Indian pizza. If it is your first time, you cannot go wrong with the "creamy" pizzas. If you like spicy food, go with creamy chili chicken tikka masala pizza. It is absolutely amazing! They have a 30% discount all day Tuesdays ???“
“A friend of ours was raging about this little pizza place he found in San Jose. So of course we had to check it out. The restaurant is on the smaller side but if you get there early, you should be able to get a table. They have a bar and TV's for those sports enthusiasts. The owner, and staff are very friendly and helpful. More importantly, the pizza was delicious! I love the thin crust. You can order what's on the menu or create your own pizza. We will definitely be back“
“One of the.. sorry, the (ONLY) best place for pizza, at least in the bay! The perfect crispness and spice of their spicy vegetarian has been my favorite for over 5 years. They are very consistent with the crispness and taste over all these years. Their quality didn't drop even through the pandemic, when they were operating as take out only. However, off late their weekend crowd is unbelievable! So much so that they don't pick calls to take orders on these days! And recently, the pizza missed the mark as it was taken out a bit sooner with still raw-ish peppers and under done crust. But, I will still keep the 5 stars given how they have maintained quality all these years and given how amazing their pizzas are!“
“Wow unbelievably tasty! Amazing customer service as well, I ordered a combination pizza and some wings, everything freshly made very delicious and outstanding customer service! Moved nearby 4 years ago had no idea about this place but it will be my go to now! All meat is halal also- nice plus yum yum! Be back soon!!!!“
“It’s the best pizza in San Jose, especially the Detroit pizza! I want to leave a picture, but I keep eating the pizza before I remember to take one! It’s a smaller space if you’re dining in with a large party, so do keep that in mind, but you’re near San Pedro Square where you have plenty of space to sit and eat among friends and get drinks.“
“Went to Palermo Italian Restaurant with my best friend for the first time recently, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Atmosphere was quaint and cozy, the food… phenomenal! Our server Lucia (hopefully I got spelling right, lovely Brazilian girl) was so attentive and informative, it really made us feel special. I would highly recommend Palermo’s and I will definitely go back whenever I am in San Jose.Parking: Street parking is a little tight but they have two overflow parking lots. One directly across the street and the other a little further down, about a 3-5 minute walk.“
“Wonderful meal and fast, exceptional service! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! They are so accomodating and for a minimal charge, they will even allow you to switch out different pasta sauces and add/swap out meat & seafood choices. Our server, Chelo qas awesome! Loved that he had pictures on his tablet of the dinner specials to show us as he described them. Highly recommend dining here!“
“Super friendly and great pizza! Fresh ingredients, hot, It was ready fast, and he even offered me a free drink and stuffed crust on one of my two pizzas at no extra charge. My 16 y/o daughter trains at the jujitsu studio next-door and has often gone in to get a slice of pizza, and they’ve always been generous and “super chill” as she puts it. We love Pizza Guys on Cherry! Oh! and……. The last time we did delivery, our driver left all his cash tips in the bag with our Parmesan cheese. We called back, thinking it was a mistake, but we were told that he does this randomly sometimes. Collect all his tips at the end of his shift and gives them to one lucky customer. I couldn’t believe it! Good people for sure???⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“This is a go-to spot it never disappoints. Would be good if they had a better system for pre-paid orders as everyone has to get in the same line but they are great on service. Also wish they had a medium. The small is small and get large is LARGE.“
“Great customer service. And willingness to accommodate customers based on your own personal preferences. Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Warming place good environment. Family friendly place, totally worth it. Very much recommended. I was invited by my boss the first time I came to this place I loved the food, and service that made me come back to enjoy dinner knowing that I would be welcomed and treated with dignity. Apart from that their food itself it’s yummy. Definitely. Food, and service on point. All employees super helpful and friendly at all times.“
“The food is really good! It's a bit on the pricier side but for some good halal pizza you can't go wrong! Make sure you specify if you want it halal.Dietary restrictions: Halal, some gluten free as well but unsure if safe for Celiac or intolerance“
“Love their pizza and food. They even did a side of sautéed spinach for me. Their roasted garlic made it extra special. Wished it was a regular item on the menu.Parking: Disabled, pick up, and regular parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“It's an excellent place; they make delicious pizza. We always take to go from this place. Our favorite is garden veggie pizza and Garlic cheese bread. We ordered from this place, and they always got the consistency and taste. Whether you are a pizza lover or not, you will love the taste and must try it.“
“Hidden gem of a place. One of the best Jain(no onion no garlic vegetarian) pizza we ever had. Baked to perfection and full of flavors. Highly recommended. We tried Chili Paneer and Bhel puree along with bread sticks. It was really good, and the person taking the order knew exactly what was in each pizza and could help us figure out which can be made Jain.Vegetarian options: Amazing vegetarian and vegan optionDietary restrictions: Jain food no onion no garlic and no potatoes“
“This is my family's third time here. We are always welcomed warmly and Tyler has always greeted my kids with enthusiasm and a smile. We are definitely new regulars here for laundry day. We love the food, the service and price, they make us feel like family. God bless this “
“The best! Anything you get here is bomb. Family owned business. We have been coming here for over 20 years. Prices are not bad and the food is amazing. My favorite is the Angie's Special, if you like mushrooms, another classic is the shrimp linguini. CHEFS KiSS!“
“I love their pizza and salad but the new owner has a very bad attitude she was very rude to me and my aunt they messed up the salad the last time I went she owed us one I ordered with egg she said don't think your getting premium added just 6 items I was so upset the salad was awful they should of changed the name the new owner lady don't smile very ugly attitude as I said before you lost my happiness for this place no smile“
“If you are unfamiliar with TonyDiMaggio’s, then you are obviously new around here, because Tony’s is well known.I’ve a concept, a rule-of-thumb, if you will, when it comes to dining: “wherever the cops go to eat is where the food and service are consistently good.” I think you’ll find that this is reasonably true.[Note5: f you ever offer an alibi, such as “I was at Tony Di’Maggio’s da night of da incident,” then the cops will know you’re lying because they eat here all the time: “(Laughter)…What are you, a clown? Real funny, wise guy. We, the cops, were at Tony’s that night having the best stromboli. You, however, might have been at some clown convention…]Years and years ago, Tony himself (may he rest in peace) waited our table. I asked for my Stromboli with “sauce on the side and hold the mustard,” to which Tony replied,“Yours is to go. Your friends - they can stay. But, you, you’re going with your Stromboli, mister ‘hold the mustard,’” (“you little prick, you,” he must have thought).(My friends looked at me as if I was full of insults.) [My mistake, Tony. After all, what do I know about Stromboli except where to get the best?]“
“Went there for dinner last Friday. We had the all meat pizza and it did not disappoint. We even went back on Saturday to listen to a band. Everyone is extremely friendly and the only downfall is I hope that they offer more gluten free food for some people who are sensitive.“
“Not, if you're looking for size, this is a must visit. Everything is made fresh and they have only the biggest pizza. I have ever seen me and this pizza must have been 5 times the regular size. If you're looking for quality, please visit this place. You will not be disappointed.“
“Great fast cheesy goodness!? Brynley customer service too. I'm going to be trying out the red stick they have a few flavors but actually there's a nice variety of stuff here. Can't have too many pizza joints in one neighborhood. !“
“I was disheartened when the Cupertino location closed down so I was delighted to find this one which opened up right after. The great thing about this place is the numerous flavors; there are 22 flavors which they place in 3 categories of classics, dry rub, and Asian fusion. My personal favorites are the garlic pepper and the Thai chili. If you like spicy, I don't think even the spicy ones have much of a kick to them, sadly. The other mediocre part of this place are the dipping sauces. As for the sides, the garlic noodles are a must.“
“I ordered the Classic burger with a side order of garlic fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. The burger is smaller in size compared to other restaurants but it was just the right amount for me. The guy that took our order was very nice and polite and the restaurant has a pretty chill vibe. I’ll try out their pizzas and beers on tap next time I comeParking: The parking across the restaurant has a meter. I came on a Sunday so it was free that day“
“Pizza Express prepared a meal for my team of 70 players and they were fantastic! They prepared individual pasta meals of Spaghetti -N- Meatballs and Chicken Alfredo. They also provided Bread Sticks and Salad. They delivered everything to the school, on time and gave us utensils as well. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future. Thanks Again Pizza Express!!!“
“First time we have eaten here and it didn't disappoint. The manicotti was delicious. The pizza was very good. The restaurant was old looking but very clean. The bathroom was very clean which I think says a lot about a restaurant. The service is top notch and I look forward to going back.“
“This is my go-to place when the family wants something fast and delicious. Our usual order consists of the gourmet veggie pizza and bbq chicken pizza. Every time, the quality is consistent and toppings are generous. Service is great whenever I pick up my order.“
“Do not snooze on joining this very active wine club. There are multiple tastings a week and frequent wine club events at very reasonable prices! The pizza is great here, and we're thrilled they've added pasta to the menu. The bar offers a good beer selection, a few liquor cocktails, and a mind-boggling wine list, plus the bottle shop options.Gratuity is built into the menu pricing. You can choose counter service (good for split checks) or opt for table service in the back.“
“I live in the South Side of San Jose. So many places to eat and munch. Good old Mountain Mikes Pizza at this location did a BEAUTIFUL, COMPLETE MAKEOVER and you can tell OWNERSHIP has changed, this place used to be runned down and GHETTO OLD. The flooring was cracked and the carpet smelled sour and like cigarette smoke. Let the photos I am posting tell the story. They have a delicious yum yum NOM NOM Chicken Club pizza that is soooo delish and creamy and spicy and bacon bits on there it gives the pizza a new perspective on the taste buds in our mouth a nice satisfaction and the other Chicken Pizza called the Robbers Roost with black olives and white creamy sauce OMG! QUE RICO! The service was quick and professional and informative. I will make this one of my Pizza stops in San Jose. Just as good as the rest of the pizza places. I totally recommend you try it out.“
“Yummy food here! We came to this place while visiting Amato's. Our daughter doesn't like cheese stake sandwiches but loves pizza. This place has a variety of pizzas and other goodies. The place looks clean and the staff is friendly. There's also plenty of parking as there is a parking lot. Price is reasonable for what you get. The food is delicious! You'll be coming back here to try some of their other pizza mash ups. They have several different types of pizzas. You'll be wanting to try more than one. I would recommend this place! It's delicious!“
“Came on a Sunday around lunch time and was able to sit before the lunch rush. The pizza is big enough for 2-3 people and we were able to share between the 3 of us, the meatballs appetizer comes with 3 meatballs and all good with delicious sauce. The ambiance is nice, we sat outside and were able to enjoy the nice weather.“
“Food: 5/5 stars The Thai chicken pizza was absolutely delicious. Crispy, fresh, so good. I would be back so frequently if I lived closer. The Mac and cheese bites I believe were a specialty item, and also tasty. Vibe: 3/5 The restaurant has more of a hole in the wall vibe. I wouldn't dress up to dine here, and I don't think I would take someone on a first dinner date. But the food is delicious and I would highly recommend trying it!“
“We ordered chorizo, ham, and pineapple. The crust is well done, so if you can I would recommend to eat there so it fresh. Once you get home and starts to cold down it might not be a good as eating it fresh off the oven. But this might just be me.“
“I had a small party here about 8 to 10 people. Service was great, all the food was done early. And it was so good!Portion sizes are huge, including their single slice. Our favorite was the king Kong size the biggest pizza we’ve ever seen. PhenomenalVegetarian options: My family wanted the combo pizza, but I’m vegetarian so I ordered a vegetarian single slice. I was surprised at the size. They are very generous! It tasted so good I loved it.Parking: Lots of parking close to the restaurant“
“I like that I could get any type of pizza slice for under $10. The slices are huge too, so it's really worth. The chicken on the Chicken Gourmet was juicy and the veggies were fresh! Not too heavy on the marinara sauce is a plus as well. My sister liked the meat lovers! Cashier was polite and friendly! It was my first time, and the cashier was happy to offer recommendations. It is a little small inside (no dine in) and a little dark, so I think a little more lighting would help to brighten the place up to make it more welcoming.I'd come back to try their other pizzas!“
“Islice Pizza has become my preferred spot for a quick and delightful meal. Having visited several times, I must say it consistently delivers a fantastic experience. As a vegetarian, I'm pleased with the flavorful and filling options they offer. It's more than just a place for a couple of slices – it's a go-to destination for quality and satisfaction.“
“I had a great time! I came in with a larger party of about 8 and we were very well taken care of. We ordered lots of food for the table that came out very quickly and tastey! And our server Nova made sure to consistently check up on us to make sure none of our cups were empty and all of our food was great. If it was an option I'd give willow street pizza a 10 star rating!Parking: This restaurant is directly connected to a 2 story parking garage“
“Very quiet and small inside, we typically take to go anyways with pizza. Always great recipes and pizza. Order directly from their website, or you will pay up to 40$ over regular pricing just for 2 pizzas....was ready in 30 minutes. We Always order to have leftovers, other pizza places taste like cardboard the next day. This pizza is still just as good cold too! GO CURRY PIZZA HOUSE!Parking: Small lot, but not hard to get a spot.Kid-friendliness: Daughter wanted to stay and dine in! Small inside though.“
“Pizza My Heart makes some of the best pizzas in San Jose and I cannot fault anything about the quality of service. I can't, though, in good conscience award 5 stars to a pizza place that charges $50 for a lie. Yes, 18", and yes, several add-on toppings, but that would be $30 anywhere else.“
“Everything was very good, the service was very attentive, just one observation, there are two sets of screens with magical effects, but when you put on the mask it smells bad. I carried disinfectant wipes, but it would be nice if there was an employee disinfecting them!“
“Excellent service and tasty pizza. We wanted food for a large party. We even had food allergies amongst our group. The owner was very patient giving us suggestions for pizza and wings. He was very careful to take note of some of the food restrictions too. On the day of the event he delivered everything and all his suggestions were a hit. The food was delicious and vanished in no time. We were very pleased with the quality of service.“
“A colleague and I went to lunch at a restaurant in a business district with ample parking.Debbie, our server, provided excellent service. We ordered pizza, chicken strips with fries, and a steak sandwich. The pizza had a delicious flavor and fresh ingredients. The chicken strips were juicy and flavorful. The steak sandwich could have used more seasoning, but it was still enjoyable overall. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, with multiple televisions for watching sports, a pool table, and a dartboards.“
“Tomato Thyme is a Willow Glen dinner staple. The vibe inside is warm and inviting. Each table comes with a jar of crayons and you can draw on the paper placemats. This can provide the table with a conversation starter or a fun round of tic tac toe with a sibling. We ordered the calamari appetizer, sole piccata and spaghetti alfredo. The calamari was light, crispy, and infused with garlic. The sole piccata did not disappoint! It was soft, savory, and melted in my mouth. The spaghetti alfredo could have used a little more pizzazz but it went down easily as well!“
“This was indeed a great parlor for pizza! They sevre Halal protein, all the meat they have is Halal which obviously means it’s healthy and nutritious. From the service to the cleanliness of the restaurant, everything was on point. 10/10 would recommend for pizza.“
“Thank you to the Rosie's NY Pizza crew for treating us to a great pizza and extras on top of what we ordered. Your large combo is an extra extra large at other places. Quality ingredients do translate to better taste. My teenage son who's hungry all the time lately very much appreciated the extra garlic knots. OMG! Everyone must try garlic knots from Rosie if you love garlic knots. I will be ordering garlic knots without pizza in the future, that's how good it is. Also love the daily specials so we get to try new pasta dishes. Thank you again!“
“Pizza was excellent, the crust was very good, definitely worth the trip, as we are not local to this place, but we found ourselves close to this place a second time, on purpose! And made sure to stop by and get more of the great tasting pizza I recommend you do so too!“
“Great place to eat pizza and have a Michelada! The pizzas are delicious. The dough tastes as if it was home made. Fresh ingredients! We had pizza Al Pastor and BBQ Chicken. We went on a Sunday it wasn't crowded. They have booths and tables you can put together for a bigger group. They got our food out quick. Friendly staff! I will definitely come back during Happy Hour. Can't find a Michelada elsewhere for $5!“
“$1.75 tacos on Wednesdays, what’s not to love? Al pastor is always fresh and never over cooked and dry. If you’re allergic to pineapples I’d recommend not to eat here as non pineapple dishes may be contaminated as well as my friend got a breakout from eating their Al pastor with no pina on top. The workers are super friendly and efficient“
“Extremely solid crowd pleaser type pizza. People ask where you got it from and want a paper menu type pizza. The crust is top tier, as I never eat pizza crust but this time did. Price is really good, at $28 range for specialties. Would recommend to eat it at the restaurant, as delivery did lag.“
