Used to come here when I was in college and truly nothing has changed. I moved away for quite some time, but just moved back in the last few years and black sheep is just as good as I remember it. The location is superb as it's downtown SLO near all of the other shops and bars. Went here with my wife because of the good reviews. We weren’t disappointed. A lovely bar with great atmosphere and a really warm welcome. Love the way they have done the place.Ordered the jalapeño bacon burger with blue cheese and fries. Wow! Probably never had a better burger! My wife had the fish tacos and they were amazing too.Definitely a great bar and highly recommended!

Nice ambiance with the beautiful wooden bar, copper tables and fireplace. We enjoyed our server: she was friendly and fun! She helped us decide on 1/2 order of the bacon and jalapeño Mac and cheese (delicious and verrry filling) and nachos (good) to share.
